This machine looks very similar to the one that Kmart had on sale a while back.

lol. yeah it does. just $10 dearer than the kmart one..

    • +2

I've got the same one. Still going strong

Ditto, no problems with me $29 special. Bargain of the year IMHO :)

just used mine not long ago.
P.S Coles has nespresso compatible pods now under their coles finest brand btw.

  • Recently got the Dolce Gusto machine and am bitterly disappointed in the Nespresso hot chocolate capsules. Do not recommend.

    • +3

Nespresso does not make hot chocolate capsules, nor do they make capsules for Dolce Gusto machines.

      • +1

Woops, they're are Nescafe for the Dolce Gusto. Backs away quietly…..

        :D

        • Fair enough, innocent mistake :-) I got confused with those two names a lot as well until I owned a Nespresso machine: "Why would people buy a $200 machine when they make the same $5 jar of instant coffee?!" Hehe.

    yep
    its the kmart model

  • Looks very similar but not identical to the K-Mart version. The K-Mart version has different lights/buttons and options for espresso/lungo and ability to save preset levels.

That aside, it looks nearly the same and should be fine for the money.

  • I got one from K-mart for $19…..too dear here.

  • Is this one also Aldi coffee compatible?

  • Speaking of the KMart machine does anyone have any issues with it leaking water?

I note when I use the L'or (Piazza Doro) capsules I can experience leakage.

    • +1

Yeah mate same here. No issues when you use Nespresso Pods, though. I only have this problem when I use Piazza D'Oro.

      • +2

I note that the Pizza D'Oro are a fraction shorter and hence the issue.

Coles has their own brand of pods. I tried the Sumatra Blend and I though they were good. Pods slightly longer than Piazza D'ro and no leakage issues. When you close the hatch you can feel the snugness of the pod as opposed to Piazza D'Oro.

Thanks for your feedback. I feel a bit better now. :)

Phew, thank you for telling me this. But the weird thing is the machine did not leak at the beginning with the Pizza D'Oro pods. And now it does. =\

        • Same experience here.

From what I can understand is not a leak in the classic sense, its water that doesn't successfully get injected through the capsule and drips down into the area where the discarded capsules sit inside the slide out tray. Because the drip tray is so shallow it just overflows and the excess slides down the side(s) and gives the first impression that there's a leak on the underside.

I now have clarity and comfort knowing I'm not alone. Good coffee machine aside from that, especially for the price.

        • Mine also leak, good to know that it is due to the pod. I was about to give away my machine.

        • mmm, nice to know here aswell. thanks

        • I finally got around to buying some of the coles pods. And I am quite pleased to say that the machine NO LONGER leaks. =D Thank you so much.

  • Showing as $79.95 now.
