Very smart designs. Mouse is good for daily office and studying use. I got my own 2 years ago from LogitechShop.
Drawback is that leathers on both side are easily worn out.

leathers? easily worn out? I've had this mouse for over 3 years and the only thing that has worn out is the battery (as in the charge doesn't last as long as it used to). The rubberised side (where you rest your thumb) is still as grippy and unworn as the day I got it. The other side is a little worn but that's to be expected after a good 3 years. Great value for a great mouse (though not as good as the $55 I got my second one for about 8 months ago - I think it was 8 months).

  • Great mouse, replaceable AA battery (I got eneloop with mine),works on anything, tiny receiver, great fit for large hands, highly recommended!

The rubber pads don't wear out. The top surface gets a gloss on it after a while however.

I've had 2 of these, they are excellent. Only hassle is that the single AA Eneloop battery doesn't hold a charge very long. But you get a 2.1A charger and a microUSB cable, and the charger is compatible with iPhones so that is a bonus.

I preferred the older model MX Revolution because it had a lithium battery and a dock. You just dropped the mouse into the dock every few days, and it was good to go. With this M950, you wait until the Logitech softweare throws a warning onto thescreen, then have to plug in to charge.

No way, the dock was cr*p. You couldn't use your mouse when it was in the dock! Also most docks played up after a while, generally that the brass contacts needed cleaning but it was still a bit lame.

      • I'm still using the MX revolution.. The dock has needed a clean but I just throw the mouse into the dock when I leave the desk. The rubber under the thumb on nice has a worn through patch though… Still going strong after 6-7 years

  • Are there any keyboards that would especially go well with this?

    • This mouse uses logitech's unifying receiver, if you get a wireless logitech keyboard, both can be used with a single usb port. I have the K360, it was cheap (about $20) and works great.

    • I use the K800 with this mouse, both compatible with the unifying receiver. Haven't had any issues with connectivity so far.

  • This is arguably a better overall deal if you can get to an Officeworks - $99 including a keyboard, and no waiting. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/116155

  • Great mouse. Highly recommend. Works perfectly on glass.

    • does it work on the plastic ?

      • Tried it on a plastic calculator and vinyl folder and it is fine.

  • I use this mouse and its awesome. I got it for almost double the price a few months ago, I wish this deal was around then.

  • I use this mouse. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my wood (laminate) desk, I need a mouse pad which sucks.

  • Well, how did you guys buy this mouse?

it says it does not ship to my default address which is located in ACT?
