Originally I ordered the one with the charging case(It was only $102.60 at that time), but they email me and saying no stock and no ETA, so I call them get this instead and refund the difference.

Yes you can also get a Android App to display the battery level of the earphones.
I'd be very surprised if not.
I've had a few bluetooth headsets and the button controls worked for iOS and Android. Currently using H800's with iOS, Android (daily driver at the moment), PC and OSX and button controls work for all those.
reviews on Amazon, suggests it does work. Plantronics is also advertising this for Android, and there is no reference on their official website that it doesn't work for Android.
It would be deceptive advertising if it didn't work.
Yes it does work without any special software. They got an android app to display battery level too but it doesn't work with GS4 4.2.2 nor any phones/tablets running OS 4.2 and 4.2.

Hopefully they don't do things like Klipsch on their S4A where they require to download an extra app to fully utilize all of the controls.
4.5 hours of battery life, 2.5 hours to fully recharge. Not the best but should be acceptable for the daily commute I suppose.
