15% Discount Code for Hotelclub.com

490
MYGIFT15

Just came across this discount on hotel club as I was looking to make a booking. With the 15% discount worked out better for me to book through hotel club, when I compared it to about 3 other sites. If anyone can help with any of the terms and conditions ill be happy to post them, I cant seem to find them anywhere, the code worked for the property and location and dates I was looking for.

    From the website:

Terms & Conditions: Book a participating hotel by 11:59pm (US Time) 06 October 2013, for stays between 26 September 2013 and 31 December 2013 via HotelClub and instantly receive 15% off your hotel booking (excluding taxes and fees). Limit one discount per hotel room and one promotion code per purchase. Applies to selected hotels only. Discounts are not redeemable for cash for any reason. Promotion codes are non-transferrable and not for resale. HotelClub reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time without notification. Coupon is not applicable to hotels located in New Zealand.

But when I type in the code and choose April 2014, it said: The promotion code you entered is only available for certain travel dates between 15 Sep 2013 and 31 Mar 2014

Don't know which one is right, but good deal!

  • Oh why not new Zealand, going there soon. :(

Me too! Have you found any good car rental deals during December by chance?

No Ihhaven't, let me know if you do too!

        • At the moment, I'm tossing between Go Rentals and Ace… Still looking for cheaper providers. I rented with Go about 5 years ago when they were still a small company. The car I rented was a somewhat old Nissan Bluebird, but it was really solid and well-equipped. Spent about $35 a day for 6 days, and it only came to $250 or so. They've grown a lot bigger now, so the prices have gone up. So I'm looking for cheaper alternatives. But I can recommend Go.

  • Recommendations for thailand (family)?

    • Thailand is a big place, start by narrowing it down.

It's a big country - Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Samui, Hua Hin, Krabi, all destinations for families. Pick your destination first, then pick hotel(s). Just avoid Pattaya, I think it's fun but you wouldn't take the Mrs or kids there. Have a think about how you want to spend your time when you're on holiday and base your destination on that. The hotel comes later.

Specifically Phuket area, beach-side and somehow below $500 per night all together (i.e. for two rooms most likely, unless there is some compelling family room deal…) Looking for luxury over cheap money-saving resorts (I know, I know, what am I even doing on OzBargain!?)

        • Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket, fits your budget with their 165 sqm family suite or with separate rooms.

It topped the list on http://www.holidayswithkids.com.au

Located on the beautiful Karon Beach in Phuket, the Movenpick has enticed many Aussie families this year with its luxurious 2-bedroom beachfront apartments, four fine dining restaurants and fantastic kids ‘Play Zone’ featuring an internet room, arts & crafts activities and outdoor playground, all inside the resort walls. Moving outside, the resort can organise elephant rides, jungle treks and island hopping adventures, meaning there will never be any bored visitors at this destination.

Edit: That resort topped the list in 2012, it came in 3rd for 2013. See the list yourself here for other options:

        • Serenity Resort and Residences is my pick.

About $300 for a seaview 1 bedroom apartment, kitchen, etc. For a family and about $400 a night the best deal is the penthouse suite, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, spa, amazing view, etc.

Worked for a booking in the US. Cancelled my direct booking with the hotel, rebooked through HotelClub. Saved around $100 and will get a decent member cashback as well. Cheers!

  • *Applies to select hotels only

Where does this select list exist?

Up to my third hotel but keep getting the not vaild for this hotel error.

    • If you put the code in the first search page under "I have a promotion code" all hotels that apply are discounted in the results screen.

  • I made a booking through hotels.com, can i cancel that and rebook with this? I still have around 5 weeks before my stay so i am pretty sure i dont lose any money. I think i am meant to have about 2 weeks leeway…

    • It depends on your original booking. Some are non-refundable and others let you make changes or cancel for free. I booked a hotel in Melbourne via hotelclub.com about a month ago, and at the bottom of the confirmation email it says:

This reservation is non-refundable. Cancellations or changes made at any time are subject to a 100% charge.

      • Lucky I was able to cancel mine and get this instead, although my other room was slightly better (pool view instead of road view) but still worth the discounted price. Any idea when this expires, As i arrive at 4am to the hotel, I am being asked to book an extra day…so i was thinking of doing that.

  • i am looking for a suite for 3 young guys in bkk! Any recommendations?

  • I applied the discount and it was still more expensive than wotif for the same hotel, room and same nights. Sometimes these discount codes can be great, then other times you can find a better price elsewhere without one.

  • Was going to book online and the decided to call them on the 1300 number. Rep on the phone gave me a discount without asking and it was cheaper than using the .com site with the code and in US$. Saved myself $113 compared to my webjet booking.

  • Saw this a few weeks ago, people are suposed to be able to win rooms free as part of booking,I think its ending soon, don't know if anyone's had luck with it:
