  • Thanks!

  • Thanks OP. I need more picks.

  • great

Love Grover Allman picks, been using them for at least 10 years. My faves are the Nylon ISO 65mm, they're thick but flexible and the raised lettering makes it really easy to keep a firm grip without it slipping.

These are great for opening hard drive enclosures :) Ordered..

  • I'm not so much of a pick user because I play fingerstyle guitar but these would be great if I wanted to strum. I bought a set of very thin Dunlop ones (because my friend said thin is good for beginners) but they are very uncomfortable to play with since they're so thin. Hopefully, these will do a better job and from the testimonials I see above, they should!

    • Try the fender medium ones. Thats what I give my students (most learn classical/finger picking) and they seem to be a good balance between picking and strumming - especially on nylon strings.

  • My confirmation email is taking a while to come though - how long is the wait normally?

-Got it, took longer than I expected. No stress!

if you don't play guitar or have a use for them, please don't order them then just lose them you'll be hurting the company and affect stocks for people who will actualy have use for them!

Don't have a guitar, ordered anyway. Picked up a good freebie

  • Thanks OP, got one for my first guitair :)

  • This is great… I am always looking for better picks. I have pretty much found my favourite picks in the .94mm Black fangs but its good to have different picks for different styles and if I find one as good as the black fangs then I can order them custom printed!

  • Thanks for sharing

  • I love the Green .88mm and the Blue 1.0mm Dunlop Tortex picks. Will be interesting to see how these compare.

  • Thanks again, WNK!!

  • Expired

  • I'm picky about my plectrums so will pass…

  • Seems out of stock, but apparantly its a chance to sign up to their mailing list once you agree to not receive any free picks.. Not a good idea to blindly fill out that form.

Hi all - thank you for such a great response to our free pick giveaway!
We are now out of stock and have indicated that on our signup form. We are unable to remove our signup form and OzBargain has a direct link in the description, so we changed it so you may still subscribe to our mailing list if you'd like to stay updated.
    Thanks!

just received a sticker from them today but no guitar pick sample, very disappointed.
    feeling this is a scam!

    • I got mine yesterday evening; received the sticker, marketing blurb and about 8 to 10 picks, ranging from about 1mm thick to about 0.5mm (it was a rushed opening before heading out). I give them the thumbs up for this deal!

      Cheers

      Richard

    • dude, you got a sticker, lol

      • hard to strum with a sticker … and the deal was for a sample pack …

    • I received a sample pack of 6 picks today, together with a mini brochure and a sticker.

The picks ranged from 0.65mm to 1.14mm in thickness and 3 different shapes. This is a nice opportunity to compare thicknesses, shapes, etc - having only used 0.38mm nylon and Fender medium picks in past!

  • Got nothing… .

  • Still waiting.

    • Might have to wait for the next run, sorry dude :/

Just got mine today (5 picks in a zip lock bag, stick and a couple of leaflets). Thanks!

        • good to hear

  • Still haven't gotten anything… and I actually really want to know what pick size is suitable for me… especially when ordering online. I've only ever gotten picks in the size of S,M,L and find M suits me, but I can't order online unless I know the specific sizing T_T

    • Woot Got 'em today! Thanks a bunch

  • Got 'em! Thanks Rep, looking forward to trying them out. Cheers :)

  • Just got mine today as well!
Unfortunately all but the 1.14 are fairly useless on bass so really hoping for cheap guitars on ozbargain before christmas lol
