Kogan list the Apple iPhone 5c with a 12 months warranty. Apple Australia are honouring an effective 2 year warranty on purchase made through authorised Australian resellers. This is through the provisions of Statutory Warranty. I recently had a faulty iPhone 4s, bought off an authorised dealer, replaced. This iPhone 4s was 23 months old and Statutory Warranty was listed on the Apple paperwork.
Will Kogan also replace faulty Apple iPhone 5c within a 2 year time frame, under Statutory Warranty?

Kogan is selling you grey imports with their own 12 mths warranty
while both phones have very little differences, one cannot simply walk into an australian apple store claiming for 2 years warranty on grey imported iphones.
Thinking seriously about pulling the trigger on this one- has anyone actually bought this deal? I am stuck with an old iphone4, might be able to sell that on ebay for $100, so the changeover of 470 seems like a good deal?

try selling it on gumtree first as you don't need pay any fees and in return you'll get more. I would say $150ish. There won't be another new iphone till end of next year so if you want a new iphone, buy it now and enjoy now.

I did buy it yes! Hasn't arrived yet, I think judging by the tracking info I might get it by tomorrow. I reckon its a good deal at $549, provided it proves to be reliable. I'm with live connected, trying to contact them so I can get a nano sim to put in the silly thing tho- not having much success!
