    This tv is absolutely amazing, especially the passive 3d. The sound is on par with my sony home theatre.

      I saw that as well but this tv is LED which is cheaper to run and this is 3d with x4 glasses included. And being sony is another plus so it justifies the extra $250.

          Yeah the last 10 years doesn't matter now. Sony is better, especially when the panasonic deal is plasma.

          Sigh not the plasma VS LED, plasma has terrible input lag terrible for GAMING… theres only 1 plasma in the top 15 on the 50" TV's and only one in the top 15 on 55" and Sony is number 1 on both… FACTS dont lie.           Edit: Im happy with my 140 max wattage TV that has the lowest input lag for a 55" tv which beats all from 50+ up while you plasma fan boys can stick to your laggy 640 max watt TV.

    TGG will sell you the Sony 55" W800A for $1400-$1500 way worth the extra! got it for $1600 with 4 years warranty.
