    a Fiver stretches to about 3.4 litre on average, so you will want 'bout quadruple/ 13.6 L for maximal benefit> free one day's worth of travel courtesy of Cal tex. ..and use multiple a/cs.

      You can only obtain 1 card per person through this deal.

      If you happen to have more than one StarCash card then they should accept them at POS for payment of goods and services.

      Like roughana has said, the deal is limited to 1 card per Groupon member, but others seem to have gotten around this by using different names and/or emails!

      The cards themselves are simply cash cards pre-loaded with $20. Obviously the fact that it's a Caltex Star Cash card means that you can only use it at Caltex/Ampol outlets where Eftpos is available (inc. Caltex - Woolworths/Safeway Petrol)!
      So it's like paying the clerk with 2 or 3 different cash or debit cards which, although frustrates the hell out of them, you see some people do it! (eg. If you bought $70 worth of petrol/goods and had 3 cards, you'd have to swipe/use up all 3 cards to give you $60 plus give them another $10 in cash to complete the sale!)

    I was reading up on StarCash and the Caltex website says the following:

    "If your total purchase exceeds the stored value remaining on the card, the difference can be made up with cash only".

      What you can do is do Pay@Pump.

      Put in card. Press Pin. Press $20. Fill up.
      Repeat and rince…. Till you have your $100 of fuel.

          No, you'll have to wait for the actual card to be delivered. As it's pre-loaded with the amount on there, it'll have to be swiped like a normal debit card!

          With unleaded presently =$1.38/L, I wonder if many tried (1.38 - 0.25) * (15 / 20), & got their: 0.847cpL.

          I used 3 cards inside a Woolworths Caltex servo + a 20­­¢ off fuel with no issue.
          You just swipe the cards & then just hit enter when it asks you to enter a password.

          Yes.

          The thread above states that according to the StarCash T&Cs you can't use more than one of these cards in the same transaction when you pay inside the store. But you can use more than one if you Pay@Pump. Hence why P@P was being sought after.

          However, it looks like this T&C may not be enforced because multiple StarCash cards can be used instore.

    Got mine today. Used it for $15 fuel, so there is $5 remain. Used the Pay@Pump and didnt even need to go onto the store to see the person.

    This means for those of you that have mutiple cards it will work, It just means you need to:

    Go when it is very quiet… (So you dont hold the person behind you up).

    Insert card.
    Wait for validation.
    Press amount (Must be in whole numbers you cant do decimals).
    Take pump, put in car.
    Finish put pump back.
    Press finish on the screen.
    Repeat from top.

    If I had a car I'd bought mutiple ones. But since I only use $15 fuel a week, I only have 8 cards. Will last me till end of January!

        Update for this:

        It's actually easier than you think.

        Go to pump.
        Put star card in.
        Take it out, when it says so.
        Press enter when it asks for pin.
        Then pump.
        It will auto preauto $20, you can fill up $13 or what ever amount you want. After filling put bower back and repeat!

          It will auto stop at 20, well it' goes 19 then it pumps very very very slowly till 20,

          Or if you stop at 15 and put the bower back you'll still have 5 in the card to use next time.
