No price on anything - very hard to judge on "UPTO" 50%
The problem with these "sales" or "deals" is that they jack up their prices beyond stupid, then advertise a 50% off the RRP when in fact the price is pretty much what it always is to begin with. As a result, a lot of people think they got a great deal because they got it 50% cheaper than what they think was the "normal" price.
Drive down the pacific highway in Chatswood and see Nick Scali on one side of the road, and Demir Leather on the other. You will also see Either a Rolls Royce Wraith, Lamborghini or Ferrari with personalised Demir plates. I think they do quite well!

UP TO meaning, the crap that doesn't sell is the only thing on special.
Everytime I drive past his Chatwood shop, he has a new super car parked out the front, either a Ferrari, Lambo or even his Rolls. This tells me he is charging far to much for his furniture and I promise you the only truely discounted stuff will be the super high margin pieces that no one wants and isnt selling.
Glad to know i'm not the only one who thinks it bizarre they would advertise their wealth like that.
Went to Nick Scali in Auburn more than 10 years ago. Asked the salesman the price for a leather lounge, to which he said "we'll tell you how much it is once you are ready to order". They obviously thought I couldn't afford anything in their shop. I went across Parramatta Rd to Demir leather and bought something that same afternoon. Needless to say, I haven't been back to Nick Scali furniture since that experience….

this sale has been going on for over 1 year
I visited many furniture shops before buying from them (was shopping for 6months + for something not just decent price but Italian leather quality )

Very smart business model, Italians are a lot fussier about items being in-fashion so once they are out in Italy you can buy them cheap and flog them off here full price. It's brilliant as evidenced by the Ferraris.
Agree. I bought a lounge when it was up to 50% off. Then 2 weeks later it was 30% everything, made our lounge $10 cheaper. We then bought a coffee table and told them to take another $10 off.
They are doing sales more often then ever (as im told by the staff too)
No sale = rip off
Oh and when they say a 6-8 week wait for a lounge, expect a 12 week wait.
I just got mine yesterday and the workmanship is poor. Missing bracket, loose stitching and fabric not glued on.

sorry, a friend recommended it and saw it's 50% off. The "up to" was hidden in the zero, so I didn't notice it before

Their furniture is good , but certainly isn't cheap
Most of their furniture is Chinese not Italian. Verify before you buy. What you see in the show room is not what you get and is much better quality than what you actually end up with. Especially at this time of year you can have a very long wait to receive your item.
Nick Scali is overpriced, and there is no specific deal with this 'bargain'
