  This things is ok, but I have a little problem with it, the Internet drops out sometimes but doesnt reconnect itself? I have to manually unplug it and plug it back… Anyone had that too? Or knows how to fix it?

    Yeah. Used this for my Internet for 3 months while travelling. Dropouts appeared if reception was low and/or there was congestion on local tower. Proved this by having both Telstra and Optus sims. If one caused problems the other quite often had no problems. Overall I found this a useful unit but I wouldn't rely on it for my primary Internet connection if in a low signal or congested signal area. Typical 3G download speeds with this unit were 8-10 Mbits/sec (that's faster than my home landline).

      an external antenna (TS 9 termination antenna) can be connected to these. according to the booklet I got with mine but I can't see where it would plug in

    you can unlock this yourself to use any sim.

      If you don't unlock, will it work with an ALDI sim though? ALDI use the Telstra network but I'm unsure whether it will still work…

        yes it will work even if its locked with a aldi sim… as they use the same network.
