    Does this allow remote connections? For example if I host whmcs on here will I be able to send commands to my mysql database on another server?

      Yes, for sure. We will have to whitelist your machine(s) IP addresses though. We've had security issues with this in the past… it's now a requirement on these servers. Only allowed IP addresses can do this.

      Wrong =)… we have an unmetered gigabit connection in Sydney. All cPanel accounts are allocated 1e+26 MB's of bandwidth PER MONTH to use… that's 100000000000000000000000000 MB per month which is the upper limit of each account… so yeah, it's basically unlimited =)

    I remember the last fabulous deal for life I bought. Company was sold a few months later, and a year or so later they ditched the deal, and wanted us to pay a 300% increase.

    These guys are dreaming if they think they can offer this for lifetime.

    Also have to agree with Tyrx about unlimited bandwidth, especially when offered on a site like OzBargain, where people will sign-up and try to use a crapload of bandwidth, only to be told they are no longer welcome.

    I'll wait for the 'Has 9web gone belly-up?' thread on whirlpool …

      Yes I agree. Been with that company too and just got an invoice for $88. Used to be $12 I think before they sold the company.

        In regards to your service, I've found you guys to have good customer service and definitely loving my transfer from justhost. I had heaps of problems originally due to having to transfer from having different web host and also a separate domain host but your customer service sorted it out within hours. Really happy I transferred! At such a cheap prices too!

    The problem with these deals is they just pile on the users, so that the hosting turns into shit. So slow, because too many users are using the same machine. It is the only way they can make any money.

    So if you want a really shitty website experience, host here.
