The sale starts 19th of Nov. I know it's early but I thought I might flag it so you know what's coming. (and you don't go 'doh.. I just booked one yesterday') Sale ends on 29th of Nov. It's everywhere around the world where Accor (Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure etc) exists.

You can use get the sale deal from the URL link I posted from 19th of Nov.

Not as good as the one I previously posted (50% off). But this is 40% for the members plus Free Breakfast (which you get free if have plat status anyway)and 30% + brekkie for non members.
Membership is free to join. Hopefully everyone has Accor platinum status from this deal;

I had Accor plat status for 3 years and personally found plat status to be quite useless in Australia but really great in overseas.

    Breakfast is not free with platinum in australia which makes this deal quite good. Better than 50% off. Hope its at a large selection of hotels.

      I meant free brekkie if you can get an upgrade to a Exec/Club level in Sofitel or Pullman. Once you have access to lounge, you get free drinks, afternoon canapés, and free breakfast (normally a la carte)
      But you are right, not free breakfast like Hilton Gold.

      I have seen the selection of the hotels and they include pretty much everywhere around the world. I can't list because list of over 50 pages..

        how much does it cost to upgrade to a Exec/Club? Can all room guests get free brekkie? provided that all room guests are plat members (thanks to ozbargain OPs)

        Say I book one queen double room at Pullman Sydney, and all 4 guests including myself are plat members.

          This sale will give all guests free brekkie. Excellent choice if you have 3 people in the room. Upgrade costs varies wildly so it's something that I wouldn't be able to comment on. I always ask (not demand..)for an upgrade on lounge access floors if you got plat. If they say no, ask if you can get a complementary access to lounge at least. It's harder to say 'no' twice for them.

    Free breakfast doesn't seem to be included in the offrs for Sofitel Melbourne.

    Edit: Just saw Nov. 19 start date. Might show up then!

      yeah it will include breakfast but hopefully you got accor plat status to get more feebies. Sofitel Melbourne is an old building but has nice lounge.

    assuming i come back and check on the 15th… will it actually be reduced from $108 - ~$70? (it is part of the list). Lets hope they don't change the prices before the sale…

      platinum status does not give you free breakfast, however it does give you access to the executive lounge. I'm not sure if this means you get access to the executive lounge benefits or if you only get the benefits if you also get a room upgrade (which is offered when available).

    Sale started with linked URL but I found there is no available rates for this sale during early Feb 2014 in Bangkok, which seems very strange. I checked December, January but cannot find any available hotel with this offer in participating BKK hotels. Anything I am doing wrong?

    Appears prices are only updated and included in the sale according to hotels local time (19th Nov at 12:01am). New Zealand are already updated with a neon sign with "40% off" shown as a special.

      what city are you searching for and what time zone are you located in?? i can't get any cities to show a discount for me :/

      all i get is "hotels are available on the requested dates for this destination, but do not match your specific rates.". tried every NZ city i can think of, for a couple of dates, as well as a few other international cities like bangkok, singapore, melbourne, etc etc… same message. no good!!

          thanks for the reply, i did the same search and found the same logo. then i did the same search for hotels in melbourne………. and all i found was caroline springs. even though a whole heap of CBD hotels are supposed to be included in the sale. i wonder what is going on with that.

          searched sydney from 5/2 to 9/2 and getting zero results

          Sydney : 42 hotels found.
          There are no hotels matching your specific rates and all of your search criteria.

          I saw plenty hotels in Sydney CBD in the list of participating hotels

          Oh well, try again in the morning and hope you guys haven't booked all the 40% pff rooms

    Tried looking at the IBIS at CDG and def some discount is applied. It's not 40% more like around 20% but the room options specifically state no breakfast. If I book this room and have plat status do I get breakfast included?

    I am not seeing any kind of discount at all. Trying to book the Ibis Styles in Albany WA in early January.
    Put in my platinum card number and it just gives me the standard rate of $97 per night with no 40% disc.

    Anyone else had this issue?

        It is included, I just adjusted the dates and I got the offer of 40% off plus free breakfast.
        I saw in the fine print that breakfast wasn't included at Ibis, but according to the screen I have in front of me it is. Just need to check with the boss before I book…

        The rate dropped from $97 per night to $58 per night.

    If you're trying to book with children, you may find it comes up with something along the lines of 'the specific rates are not available for the rooms you require' even though you are only asking for one room (you may only have a baby etc). Remove the child and suddenly the 40% offer and free breakfast will display. You should check with the hotel to see how to book with a child using this offer (if it's even possible).
