Wish I can use it NOW so that I can buy something as a gift, instead of using gift card as a gift.

Who are the first guys to lose out when a company goes into administration? Yep, gift voucher holders.

Something to keep in mind paying for something you cant redeem for 6 weeks.

shame I need a voucher now, it would be a good deal if you could use it straight away..

Don't see the logic of making the gift cards active on 25 Dec, would deter a lot of potential buyers I think.

Sounds to me like an attempt to raise cash to increase their funding of Christmas stock.

Let them use your cash to fund their Christmas stock and in return you get a % off your post Christmas purchase. Sounds a bit risky to me.

  • Activated on the 25th, whats the deal with that? Possibly so not to conflict with their existing discounts that have running.

  • Bit annoying that you can't use them until 25/12 - previous deals you guys have discounted gift cards for instant redemption: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114645

  • Will the price go up 20% after Christmas?

  • They should also mention that their stock is grey imported and most of it will only be covered by their own warranty, not the suppliers (eg Nikon, Canon etc) warranty. Taking a look around their prices are pretty high considering this.
