Since when were these $4.19?? Don't remember any chips being over $4.
Anyway this is awesome these are easily the best potato-based chips going around.

    • What I've noticed is they normally drop the price, do a half price special or something then they RAISE the price when it goes back to "normal"… so every time I see something I love go half price at Woolies or Coles my heart breaks… :(

    • Red rock is still the best imo

      • tyo

        • i'm puzzled - what does 'tyo' stand for? Thanks

      • Have you tried the Aldi red rock equivalent. They are very good if not better than red rock.

Been around this price for quite a while. I only buy when they're on for half price, which happens quite frequently these days.

    • I got 2 packs of chilli today @ coles for 2 for $6… might return them and get this offer….. wait…. too late 1 packs already gone… may as well crack open a beer and start on the next pack.

      • +4

the ozbargain way would be to purchase two packs at woolies then return them to coles for $6

  • I love sea salt chips, today I tried one from Natural chip company have to say I'm hooked :)

  • Does anyone have the pdf link to the woolworths catalogue?
They changed the numbering recently but now release the next week's specials earlier…

I still like reading it on my ebook reader…

    • They've taken the PDF link away as far as I can tell.

Just for info….wife and I love the chilli kettle…but about 2 months ago while having a movie night with kettle chips (fortunately kids in bed otherwise it would have been one of them not me and we probably would've panicked)….I bit on something and it felt like metal - the kind that gives you a bit of a light jolt if you have a filling in one of your teeth and something metallic touches it.
By the time I reacted I swallowed a bit of it and spat out the other part…got in touch with kettle and they were reasonable with handling the issue…sent me a 15 dollar voucher to replace the pack and I sent them the pack along with the leftover bit of what looked like metallic foil.
After about 2 weeks of investigation they came back (verbally over the phone)saying it was inconclusive but probably an easter egg foil wrapper, and they couldn't figure out where it would have come from…just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone ever has a similar experience…hopefully metallic foil doesn't have any long term effects :)

You should also be referring food contamination and foreign objects to your local council's health department as they have jurisdiction over these matters.

FYI - the "Natural Chip Company" fries their chips in PALM OIL :-(
While Kettle Chips are fried in 100% sunflower oil.
Best stick with Kettle, who are also 100% Aussie owned!

    • Are they really aussie owned?
Cos Kettle is a huge brand in the states too… they have all sorts of flavours…

I just did some quick research and the Kettle brand in the US and internationally outside Australia is owned by Diamond Foods and is not associated with the Kettle Chip brand sold in Australia who is owned by Snack Brands Australia. Snack Brands Australia also own CC's, Cheezels, Thins, Samboy and Natural Chip Company among others and claims to be a 100% Australian owned and operated company.

  • And there goes my diet again… sigh
LOVE Kettle Chili… can eat a whole pack in one go (then feel sick and full of regret… and tasty chips)

  • Woah this is crazy just went to local woollies, they were almost sold out only few packs of each left.

Seriously are they really cheap and haven't gone half price for a while?
