      I was there on the day and they had next to nothing left on the shelf at about 2:30pm.

      Seeing these pics of GG shops with games on the shelf that people had cancelled is disappointing… not so good eh guys?

    I used my $40 voucher and got Jurassic Park 3D and American Reunion on Blu-ray.

    Saw Call of Duty Black Ops II (Xbox 360) on the shelf, which was a bit annoying, considering that it was cancelled from my order.

    Forget TGG - After getting notified that I would receive 1/13 games from my 2 orders, getting refunded the difference and being provided with a $40 gift card, I went to check out my local Dick and scored a couple of real bargains! - PS3 Just Dance 3 ($3.75) and Wii Black Eye Peas (93c).     Looks like this buyer is just getting his Pokemon action on…and not much else. So far nothing delivered but I have been refunded.

    Some thoughts:
    * The Good Guys seem to have kept most savages at bay with the gift card.
    * It's a disappointing situation regardless.
    * It must be a bit of a nightmare to allocate stock on a per-store basis rather than a main warehouse.
    * Customer service seemed responsive and nice on the phone, which surprised me. I was expecting zero or very poor customer service after experiencing the lows of Australian retail with my CatchOfTheDay and Dick Smith experiences.

      I plan on avoiding The Good Guys online from now on. I used the $40 voucher online, and the order was assigned to my local store (ordered two Blu-rays). They called me to say that one of them was out of stock, and to come in to the store to sort out the situation. When I arrived there, they basically said that the second Blu-ray was at a store in NSW and too far away to be sent out to me (I live in QLD).

      Long story short, the order is assigned to a store (most likely your closest), and they only fulfil the stock that they have, and tell you that everything else is out of stock, unless a close by store has it.

        how ridiculous. They can't seem to do anything right can they. I don't see how it can be too far away to ship to you. They're shipping a game from Qld to me in NSW. Inter State postage is not a difficult thing they just don't want to deal with the expense. This whole mess really shows what kind of company they really are.

    Anyone ordered Gravity Rush and Modnation Racer for the PS Vita and did not get them? I was at my local Good Guys this arvo and was able to purchase these two titles for $10 each. Did not order these games during the clearance day. Have receipt to prove them.

    Still awaiting delivery of the games but I did get the partial refund and 2 giftcards from 2 orders, so can't complain.

    Anyone else with NAB? Paypal says refund completed on the 5th, but it still hasn't shown up in my bank account. Is this kind of delay normal with paypal refunds?

      Did you withdraw it out of your paypal account? The refund doesn't automatically go back to your bank account.

      Try calling up Couriers Please to enquire about your consignment number. They normally leave a calling card for you to organise redelivery or pickup from a depot. you will have to do it within 48 hours of them performing an unsuccessful delivery though.

    Well I received all my games (and gift voucher) except for the ones I really wanted: pokemon heartgold/soulsilver. I need my nostalgia fix so if anyone managed to get spare copies of either they are willing to sell, name your price. I'll pick it up if you live locally too :)

    Invoice is still stating the rest is on backorder but have received the refund, timing will be interesting.

          Paypal to credit card refund can take up to 30 days according to Paypal TOS. Took about 5 days for me

    The amount of lies spun by this company is beyond me,just called them back and spoke to the team leader David he said it's 1 per costumer even if you have done 10 orders he also stated that people have got more than 1 voucher due to there names being spelt different lol,It's a endless set of lies so good luck to anyone that has received 2 or more gift cards spend them quick lol.

      i dunno if what they're telling us are lies, rather i don't think anyone at TGG knows what they're doing and are just telling us different things.

      like i said two weeks ago, this whole fiasco could have been avoided if their head office just told everyone what was going on, instead of leaving it up to individual stores + customer care to deal with.

      after going into my local store last weekend to suss out what i could get with my $40 voucher, i wasn't surprised in the slightest that one of the games that couldn't be fulfilled in my order was indeed on the shelf, at full price, along with a whole heap of other games that TGG apparently "can't source from ~ANY~ of their suppliers in australia".

      I believe it is supposed to be 1 per customer HOWEVER as there were 5,000-10,000+ orders not all orders were consolidated internally properly. My guess would be if you made 3 orders and they correctly consolidated into 1, you will receive 1 voucher VS 3 orders made and only 2 were consolidated you would receive 2 vouchers. Luck of the draw.

      Mine was supposedly shipped on Friday hasn't arrived yet ! Even through the allocated store for that order is like 1 hour away so I posted on the good guys Facebook page and was told my orders tracking needs to be sent by the courier funny thing is I've never recieved a tracking number for it yet I have tracking for my giftcard purchases which may arrive tomorrow ! This is turning into a joke I want it over with already! ._.
