    For those games you didn't receive and found at the local TGG stores at full RRP. Have you tried to bring your order cancellation confirmation to those stores and ask if they can sell you those games on the shelves at $10 each because the online store said they couldn't source the games so you helped them and found the games on their shelves?

    Well I'm getting very concerned about where my order of games is cause my giftcard order ($40 Blender + 3ds circle pad pro ) is on board with driver for delivery today ._. wow I don't know what to say if the games are not in the mail today

    -Have received 3 different tracking numbers from Temandos. 2 state - goods delivered to the wrong address and signed. Awesome!!!
    -Have received a "rate your item" email from the good guys. I just wrote "How about delivering it first"
    -Wrote to both companies, don't think they will be able to sort it out by the way this thing has been handled so far.

    Not impressed at all.

        Might be AusPost and not Temandos (no tracking number). I hope it is that way so you have a chance to actually get your games ;)

    Well, I finally got my games (Pokemon White 2 & Black 2) this morning. Shame about the other 3 games that were cancelled…but at least the order's finally come.

        I got the email stating which items were dispatched and which ones were cancelled (which was sent to me on the 6th of December).

    As expected my blender and 3ds circle pad turned up first lol just waiting on the games then i'll be happy till then I'm concerned about the order

      Sounds like they tried to save as much money on some shipping (Aus Post with no tracking) but some people got expensive courier delivery.

      • Agreed the blenders box had a hole in but since it works and I don't collect blenders xD no issues

  • Just got clarification for everyone that the vouchers were strictly one per customer. For those who made multiple orders and got multiple gift vouchers, you got lucky (according to TGG rep on the phone). Hope this clears up the info about the vouchers.

      I'm pretty sure what '2pro4sho' said would be the case.

      I believe it is supposed to be 1 per customer HOWEVER as there were 5,000-10,000+ orders not all orders were consolidated internally properly. My guess would be if you made 3 orders and they correctly consolidated into 1, you will receive 1 voucher VS 3 orders made and only 2 were consolidated you would receive 2 vouchers. Luck of the draw.

    • I was told by a customer service rep that i would be getting 2 vouchers as both my orders had games that were unavailable, I received both the vouchers but that being, i got told conflicting information throughout this whole ordeal so its hard to trust anything TGG's say

      • Yeah, the rep called up the webmaster and they said is was a miscommunication between the webmaster (who are handling the game clearance case) and service reps. I was initially told one per person and now they changed the story to one per customer. TGG are very inconsistent.

    Ok, now I got an email from The good guys saying that they couldn't deliver it due to a wrong address…….yeah because they have forgotten the Unit number omg. How about contacting me instead of just sitting on the games. Terrible customer service.

    I just posted this on the EB Mad Monday deal, Ill quote it
    "So looks like EB have screwed up, Everyone who grabbed the definitive edition Batman Origins, were not suppose to get the game, problem was they forgot to mention that on the site, so everyone is getting definitive editions with no games, but since they forgot to mention that, they are going to send us a copy of the game, the lady on the phone said that they are sourcing copies and are going to send them out when they do, unfortunately their is no ETA, This is moronic, they have stock on the website I even asked couldnt I just get a standard edition? and she said that that was the copy that comes with the Edition anyway, so why are they having trouble sourcing it, they have enough copies <_<, also if I dont get the game by Christmas, does that mean I get the a $20 voucher?

    Had to Give the TGG store my order is coming from a call because I still haven't received my items and I got the dispatch email a week ago. It still hasn't been dispatched, I asked why I got the email and they gave me some cock and bull story about that the order has been dispatched to the store from the warehouse, like im an idiot or something. The most likely situation is that they just said they've dispatched most of their order to get HQ off their backs and they are taking their time doing anything. She said I should get it buy next Monday, but if I dont ill probably call the HQ and tell them what has been going on.

    It sucks that we dont have someone from TGG that can handle stuff like this (stores being a problem)

      Also last week when I called (7 Days ago) they said they have 600 orders to go through, today… 600 orders to go through… ARE THEY DOING ANYTHING!?!?! I wish I got a different store. Lets say it takes 10 mins for one order, in an average day, with one person they could do 48 orders, in 7 days they could of packed 336 orders.

    • Uncharted 3 the game they said was out of stock luckily priced at $19 and kill zone 3 platinum edition also at $19. If any one has a copy of kill zone 3 normal edition in very good condition they would like to swap for the new Killzone 3 and live on the gold coast let me know as I hate platinum editions.

No complaints there for me (: just waiting on the games then I'll be glad this is over and may be awhile before I trust another online games clearance I avoided ebs mad Monday sale cause of the amount of trouble I'm going through with TGG

      Bought Pokemon X with it and ended up paying $18. Not the greatest deal but I am still pretty happy.

    Tried to place an order with my 2 gift cards and got an error message when checking out. Funds were removed from my gift cards, but the order wasn't accepted.

    Just wasted another 20 minutes (call & email) of my life dealing with these guys. When will it end?

    All VITA games are missing instruction manuals and are not sealed.

      • Oh yeah I got mine sealed and there was no manual I was surprised by that. I was also surprised Nintendo goes through the effort of rounding of Wii u discs.

        • yep most of the vita games just have the cartridge itself. The manual is on the cartridge itselg.

    Noticed that Super Mario World 3d Wii U is in their latest catalogue for $67 but only available instore. Went to my local on the off chance they might have it (cause they've got bugger all on display) very kind lady checked the store system and they had it listed as a DS game (?!) and it was sitting out the back. Used my $40 Gift card from my Luigi U refund and was only asked to pay $25.50 (!!??!) at the checkout. Not only that but I got a $5 credit towards my next intore purchase AND a Disneyland holiday entry form. Gotta plus the original deal now cause without it I wouldn't have scored my deal today. Good Guys without doubt you're incompetent, but I love ya.

    If your game is coming from the Auburn store it has been sitting there since last Thursday whilst they wait for a courier to do a bulk collection. Seems they are in no hurry to get games to angry customers. What good guys.

        Thats my store <_<, did they indicated when the courier was coming?? I honestly cant believe this, why aren't they using AusPost? wouldn't this take longer and cost more? This is disgusting, can someone call the Good Guys HQ and let them know, we have waited long enough without Franchises making it worse.

          There was no confirmed date for the bulk pick up when I called on Tuesday. All they said was 'it should be within the next two weeks'. I spoke to the customer service team who contacted the Auburn store for the update.

          It might be possible to pick it up from the Auburn store but it sounded like there were hundreds of packages so finding your order might be impossible knowing how The Good Guys organise things.

      Auburn was my store despite my email saying dispatched on Friday it has yet to arrive ,no tracking sent yet either so no idea if it's coming via post or courier

    I all so got 2 unsealed games with scratched disks and heavily scuffed cases looks like they are 2nd hand one they must be desperate. Disgusted with there service why send out rubbish to people.

    I wandered into a good guys today with my $40 voucher and found a Mario Kart 7 on the shelf. I asked a sales assistant to price match Big W (which had it at $44) and he beat it to $40. So I got a free 3ds game out of this. I'm pretty happy.

    TGG certainly bought my good will.

    No proper case, no insert. I'm sure there are copies in Thailand that look more legitimate! What a joke.

    The 2 games I am still waiting on are Christmas gifts. I'm really worried they are going to turn up in 2nd hand condition.

    When I spoke to the guy last week at 'customer service' I told him that people had been receiving games in bad condition and he acted like he didn't believe me! I asked him if he could guarantee that the games would be new and he said they 'should be'.

    My back-ordered games are both PS3 games and I think they are old titles.

    hmm. If I get scratched, broken, 2nd hand …..items I will simply not accept it. You can argue that it was only 10 bucks but I don't care. I bought it from a proper retailer and it was never mentioned that they were not new. However, first I need to get them - I mean it has only been 3.5 weeks lol.

    Thought i'd share my experience from shopping in store at TGG's yesterday

    I went to the Gepps Cross (SA) store in the way home from work to try and spend my gift cards
    I was after either a Logitech folio keyboard for my iPad air or Super Mario 3D World for Wii U.
    I went in and couldn't find these items on shelf so i asked the rep (who appeared to be a senior rep), he told me they didn't have either item and were "possibly" sold out. He didn't sound confident at all, honestly just sounded like he couldn't be bothered so i asked him to check the computer for me and his response was a very abrupt "no"
    So i asked him if he could check stock at the Hectorville store for me as that was closer to my home, again he responded with "no"
    I was a bit taken back by this so (being a little frustrated) i just asked for the Hectorville's phone number so i could call them myself and again he told me "no"
    He saw that i got annoyed by this so he picked up a catalogue and started flicking through it but then just told me to go to the front of the store and grab my own catalogue to find the number.

    I was absolutely appalled by this rude and unhelpful customer service, i have shopped at the good guys for years buying whitegoods and TV's. After this experience and the sh1tfight over the games i doubt i'll be back.

      do you remember the persons name? seriously go post it on their facebook page or any other social media page you have. Im not sure what emailing them and complaining to them will do though.

      His responses were very rude i would be very frustrated as well.

        I heard his name as he was talking on the phone when i was looking for the iPad folio case, he was trying to sell someone an Macbook Air and he told them to come in and see him.
        His name was Sudar or Sumesh or something like that, he seemed to be a manager or at least a senior rep cause there were 2 younger guys asking him questions all the time.

        I thought about putting in a formal complaint about him (written to the store) and i still may do that but i dont really want to link my personal FB or twitter account to businesses.

          Don't bother sending it to the store, either send it straight to the head office or call them up. Tell them what happened sound angry and let them have it.

    I went to good guys Chatswood today to see what I can spend my voucher on. They had cases for uncharted golden abyss and Pokemon white 2 on the shelf, when I asked about them, the guy said they didn't have actual game cartridges and he mentioned that that seemed dodgy.

    I ended up buying a $44 16 GB vita memory card with one of my gift cards (because I find the idea of spending real money on a vita memory card somewhat nauseating), They managed to lose the memory card at some point between me committing to buy the card and me paying for it, so I had to wait while they found it again. I still have another gift card and maaaaay be getting a third, and I'm still waiting for my third order consisting mainly of the guaranteed Nintendo games (LOL Auburn).

    Frankly, I just want this to be finished and done with now, I'm over all this drama (and I love this kind of drama).
