    Is this mouse any good?

    • +1

The best $69 investment I ever made for my work mouse.
      Reduce CTS :)

    • +1

Really good mouse. Comfy as hell.

    • +1

No good for FPS gaming - for me at least, just doesn't feel right because it's not.. symmetrical
To me it's a deluxe office mouse, I wouldn't pay RRP for it though.
Should be okay for RTS gaming

    • +2

I've had one for 3 years, hate it. The ergonomics make it awfully uncomfortable for me.
And yeah, don't expect to use it for gaming, cause it sucks for it.

  • how u getting $61 delivered? i'm getting

    Items: AUD 56.70
    Shipping & handling: AUD 12.46

    • You're correct. $61 was USD.

So shouldn't the price be corrected to the Australian price? We are not USBargain.

    • The AUD price is in the title (~$69). By buying in USD, you benefit from using your credit card's exchange rate, which is typically better than Amazon's.

      • -2

Yeah, I havnt seen a USB bargain for ages on here!

        • -2

A USB argin, even. I don't think I've ever seen any kind of argin before.

    • Also, the exact price in AUD will vary depend on the card that you use. Forex fees ranges from 0% to 3-4%.

  • It's cheaper to purchase in USD with a card with no FX fees like 28 day.

    G9X not on sale :-(

    • I regret selling mine. Best. Mouse. Ever.

    • Old discontinued mouse as far as I know . Still one of the best

  • Can you get these to work on a PC without installing additional software?

    • My guess is, like other gaming mice I've had, that it will work fine with the two buttons and the wheel but you won't have all the extra functionality.

      • Thanks Alzori for the reply.

    • I used it recently with the USB cable attached to do a clean install of Windows on a new PC. worked straight away, even in UEFI.

    • Of course it will, but the mouse will be running on a generic HID-compliant driver, which means no on-the-fly DPI & sensitivity switching, no macros, no profile-switching, no game-detection for profile switching, no reprogramming the buttons and no raw mouse input for applications.

Not sure why anyone would spend $61 dollars on a gaming mouse to use it like a $2 OEM mouse.

  • Have this mouse and love it!
…although… The right click is a tad too easy to click if you are just resting on it. Also the non slip grip takes a while to get used to as it kinda feels like your mouse is dirty where your thumb rests, hard to explain.
Comes with micro usb charge cable, and one sanyo eneloop AA battery. Battery life is awesome if you can remember to turn it off when you aren't using it.

Used this for CS and Battlefield online wirelessly and performs perfectly, no lag what so ever.

    BUY IT!!

    • I hear it's a good mouse, but I'm iffy about how well it'll work with FPS's. Just because it has those extra buttons and things which you typically wouldn't be using. Do you find it clunky or cumbersome at all?

      • +1

I upgraded from a Logitech G500 to this so I have been use to the extra buttons for a while. They don't get in the way and in games such as Crysis 3 I use the thumb buttons for quick select of power or stealth. it's very quick though.

  • Previously purchased this from the last DSE sale, I was a little disappointed by the battery life and that this doesn't support Setpoint/Uberoptions unlike the G700.

  • quite a few other things on there that are of decent value (much better than what u can get here even after shipping)

  • if your buying this for the extra button dont buy it, its to bulky its hurts my thumb for long hour of gaming
sold mine and bought a g600 instead

  • Great deal.
    I have G700 & love it.

    • Same, had it for nearly 2 years now, I highly recommend it (the new version of it has even higher dpi etc).

  • Bought a G700s and and a G930 Headset. I have wanted a G930 for a while to replace my G35.

This deal was cheaper to buy both than it was to buy just the G930 from pccasegear.

    Thanks OP

  • The only problem with the G700 mouse that I'm using now is the battery life is short, can't relay on the internal battery. The wired cable is quite durable which means it not that flexible when playing games. Otherwise the mouse is brilliant and with that price I want to get another one :)

    Cheers.

  • Price has dropped to $49.99 USD + free shiping = ~ 54 AUD. Picked a couple up, good deal to complement the deathadder 2013 I ordered for 36 from Mobilicity deal

    • +1

      Hi Davo93,
Quick question: How did you get free shipping from Amazon? I'm in Melbourne, ordered the Performance mouse, and I wasn't eligible for free shipping. Cheers.

  • Anyone know if it's possible to match this price in any stores in Australia? JBHifi has these but I don't think they will match it

    • Why would you give those soul sucking shops your money when you have a top online shop supplying it for less?!

      • 2 reasons:

        1. Amazon takes around 2 weeks to ship the product
        2. I like JB
        • Which JB? ;)

  • Was about to skip this deal cause I'm not really sold on wireless mice and the cable option does not seem to be ideal.
I've never had a "premium" wireless mouse, though. So I'm going to give it a shot.

  • Deal gone? Coming up as $79 AUD + shipping = $91 AUD

  • Looks like it was only a 1 day sale
