Free Upgrade to Virtu MVP 2.0 Pro for Eligible Users

50

Lucidlogix is giving away Virtu MVP 2.0 to customers who had licenses for the 1st gen Virtu MVP. All they ask for is a name and email to send the activation key to. This is the Pro Edition, a $56 value (that I didn't want to pay, so was stuck running without Virtu MVP prior (the 1st gen didn't work on Windows 8.1 (bracket))).

Just hit up the link, run the upgrade tool, give them your deets and then install Virtu MVP 2.0. Once you get the activation key, enter it in the MVP control panel. Oh, there's a reboot involved somewhere in the process.

Good luck and enjoy!

  • For those that don't know…
"Virtu MVP, designed over the winning Virtu Green GPU Virtualization software, makes your PC look better, respond faster, process video and media smoother, all within a low power environment."
    IE. Increases gaming performance.

    Nice find Op!

  • Didn't work for me for some reason.

    i5 3570k on a Z77 Sabertooth …

    • That's odd, your combo should work. the 3570k has a HD4000 IGD too. Did you use to be able to have access to the 1st gen Virtu?

  • I had this installed on Windows 8, which then upgraded to 8.1.
After the upgrade to 8.1 I lost the ATI drivers and could not re-install as the installer keeps crashing.
Found out that this issue was caused by Virtu MVP 2.0.
I removed Virtu MVP 2.0, then the ATI installer loaded the drivers correctly.

I haven't put Virtu back yet, but it's probably fine to re-install.

Just thought I'd post a heads up about Vitru MVP 2.0, if anyone is about to update to windows 8.1.
