"so I ass for an other game"
might want to tidy that up…

Funny how you picked it up haha

    • Ozbargainers will do anything for a bargain ;-)

So it's conditional $148 - you still need to spend the $169.

All these boxing day special not for Sydney, most store won't open :(

thats $169 included gears of war and hdmi cable.. no reason to neg
but good reason to go to spec savers

    • +2

No need to neg. $169 for this xbox with $100 is still a pretty good deal. Neg if you can find better price right now.

      • Better yet Rookie, have a go at posting up some bargains yourself.

        • What's that got to do with this deal? Poor argument imo

Those who can do. Those who can't critique.

It's boxing day, surely you can find a deal somewhere to post.

  • The hdmi cable is the real bargain, was originally $37.99

  • That's the same bundle JB have had for ages, plus you picked an older game to replace it with, not really a 'deal' there. The real deal is this with the $100 cash back, so I don't see how this is a 'deal' at all honestly. And it's not $148, you couldn't buy just the console for that. it's only $148 as part of a bundle.

Agreed, but wait for all the haters to attack you…

    • Still seems the best price for the console I've seen @ $148 = $48 after cashback.

By the way, if you buy the Xbox deal - scan you receipt, claim the cash back then return the xBox console how will MS know you did that?

Wont you be $100 better off as will still deposit the $100 in your account?

      • +1

Yes you could probably do that but that is the exact demarcation line between dodgy and honest.

        • True my friend, I guess we have to draw the line between finding a deal and being a dishonest thief and the later does not sit well with me, even if MS are guilty of being corporate theifs for so long.

          Cheers

      • Jb hifi are a real pain with returns anyway.
So youhave very little hopereturning it before u get the ms $100 3 months later.

Letsface it this guy was lucky but its not a bargain anyone. Else will get.

      • I'm not denying that it's a good deal with the cashback, it's just this post doesn't mention the cashback deal and has posted up an old bundle saying it's a good Boxing Day deal which it isn't.

And to get the cashback I think you have to register your console, so that trick wouldn't work…but I could be wrong.

  • Thanks. As the game has been sold out, when I used your receipt to match in Jb-hifi Canberra centre, they agreed to sell me the console only at 148.

    • I don't need a game. Can you please upload your receipt? Maybe it's better with only console in the receipt to persuade them. I'll try in JB in my area. Thanks.
