Some things are better than others. The minties, for example sell for the regular price of $4/400g, so the current $1.50/150g isn't all that flash.
I thought Woolies owned Big W. And the OP suggests Coles has them for $1.57.
Yeah, they do own them. No idea why they don't carry that specific type of Allens lollies, but BigW in same complex does.

Really? My Woolies doesn't stock them. This is frankston - two Karingal Hub stores, and one cbd store. Likewise neither of the Coles stores round here(cbd or Ashleigh ave) do.
This is 'Ripe Raspberries' in particular, i mean - if that's the confusion? They stock 'Allens' lollies broadly, just not that particular lolly - though have found an IGA nearby who has them, albeit for ~$3 (and for whatever reason Bigw, Karingal Hub has them)..
Similarly looked in Greensborough - same thing, everything Allens but 'Ripe Raspberries' at Coles i checked there.
Hmm I've never sought those out specifically, I'll have a look. I know you can get the red frogs at woolies, do they taste the same?
Nah, they're tasty to but got there own thing. I'm not as addicted to Ripe Raspberries as i was, but still favs. Truth be told it's probably a good idea they're not readily available here, i'd be a bloated mess long before i got sick of them i suspect.
I believe Woolworths in Maroubra had some for $2/packet.
