These crooks got me with their 1 day bait and switch tactic last week.. Didn't have near enough stock for 1 day and refused to give me a rain cheque but tried to sell me something else while I was there.
Coles seem to have better customer relations

    • Are you serious? These "crooks" are way too large to resort to any sort of "bait and switch" tactic for a single consumer-sized purchase. More likely the staff was just trying to help you by suggesting another item. Some items explicitly state "no raincheck", same as Coles. Besides, if you bought it and changed your mind, you could just walk right back in and return it.

    • Probably because we had people buying up to twelve boxes each. Its very quick for the two pallets they give us to go that fast. I had to talk one customer down from taking forty boxes. When people keep tryingto buy that much, some slip through, and then we get complaints all evening about how we are out of stock.

    • What were you trying to buy last week?

I assume the half price 30pk of Coke.

Given Cardz previous comments, he regularly stocks up Coke can deals at woolies, seems like the time he can't get his hands on it, woolies are crooks and bait advertise, lol.

        • Yes it was coke.
          But fact of matter that
          A) Woolworths should of expected this would be popular and order a lot more stock.
          B) Place an advertised limit or say 2 or 4 or 6 cartons
          c) Either offer rain cheques or advertise saying no rain cheques and while stock lasts with their advertising

None of these things happened and thats why I was disappointed when I drove to Woolworths on the day to buy some coke.
They just said you can buy some 24can packs at double the cost.

Well, they did say "Unless sold out earlier" http://www.woolworthscatalogue.com/

Stop negging because you're pissed to be proven wrong.

Dare I say cardz will happily read what he wants to read, and stop before the "Unless sold out earlier" disclaimer.

This isn't a statement of fact, but since cardz doesn't like dealing with such statements anyway, I'll go out on a wing and say it.

Chances are it is someone like cardz who went there first and bought all the coke coz its cheap, so others like cardz now can't get any. It's ironic, it makes me laugh.

        • You can jump to whatever conclusions you want. Fact of the matter when woolies advertise in local papers and TV they dont include that full article.
If you really expect someone to google and look for an article everything they see an advertised special then you make me laugh.

I will say it again. Here is the advert as it appeared in my paper without the article.

Show me where it says while stocks last or no rain cheques available.
