whenever i see sandwiches at a service station all I can think of is the 'Parasite' sandwich in Futurama…

I always think of this quote from National Lampoon's Vacation:
"I'm so hungry I could eat a sandwich from a gas station. " - Chevy Chase

    • Cool, looks like it's Aust-wide

Ad says valid till 3/03/14, which is a Monday…?

    • Note that it is valid until 'MARCH' not Feb

  • Anyone tried their sandwiches before? What's good?

    • +1

Only ever as an absolute last resort. Imo they're no good- soggy, moisture, bland…

I don't mind the chicken/avo ones tbh. Always take them from the back of the fridge to try and get the newest batches.

Hold your nose and eat the sandwich ($2), then quickly wash it down with their horrible coffee ($1), then head into your nearest woolies for a chupa chup to get rid of the aftertaste (35c).

All up, that's lunch sorted for $3.35!

Just had one of the Ham, cheese and tomato ones for morning tea. Not too bad for $2, gonna have another one for lunch.

Got a (supposed) $7 triple sandwich (3 different halves) for $2, thanks to this page! That's a great deal in anyone's language. It was a reasonable sandwich. Fresh, tasty, much better than I expected. Blown away they're included in the deal.

Problem: Already brought lunch to work.

  • Checked a couple of stores, could only see egg&lettuce, and ham, cheese, tomato available. Still a good deal, grabbed a couple, thanks OP
