The Sims 3 - $4.99 Origin US or $12.49 Origin AU

30

The above link will redirect you to the Australian Origin store. If you however access it through a VPN, you can access the US Origin store. I don't believe that the javascript trick works anymore, to access the US Origin store in Australia (not working for me right now anyhow).

    Does anyone use TunnelBear?

    • yep, it's so simple! and free :D

  • Doesn't everyone have this from the EA humblebundle?

  • hmm usd:aud 1:3? lol

    • What payment method did you use?

I tried to use credit card and it kept rejecting it, then tried pay pal and it was going to be 5.30AUD

  • Im gonna boycott origin on this one for ripping ozzies off. 150% mark up. What a con. Are they claimed its due to extra middlemen / shipping r some junk?

    • In all fairness, Steam does the same thing. Their prices are just as outrageous a lot of the time for Australian customers. If I couldn't buy CD keys externally, I wouldn't use steam. Origin is a steaming pile of horse manure in general, but they aren't the only ones guilty of price gouging.

  • has anyone looked at the Peso option? (a la Battlefield 4 … refer … https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/123829) it was a bit of mucking around, but worked well …
