  It is a very tempting offer, I'm wishing I took up the Surface RT deal back in December. The thickness and weight of this puts me off a little. Maybe I'll hold out for a bay trail with pen input. I can use pen and paper for another semester or three

    I thought I would want the pen as well but I find no use for it. It's not that accurate, at least I feel targeting the close button or other selectable objects in desktop mode to be quite difficult compared to the trackpad or mouse. It also uses a magnet to determine the proximity of the tip from the surface and feels weird.

  Same price as previous deal from Harvey Norman. Also this is the touch cover 1, which is nowwhere near as good as the New touch cover 2 (The two is alot more accurate). But it is a Full PC and i have owned one since launch day last May 2013, Definately worth more than all the Apple and Android Tablets (Which can't do what this baby can do!)

  There are plenty of applications - billions, it runs full windows 8 with free update to Windows 8.1. BUY!

  For those who want a bit more power - Pay the extra and get the Surface Pro 2.

    It's very nice… Bought it with last HN deal. Love it…. Tried the Pro 2, personally don't think it's worth the extra 400+ :)

      I love hearing about great windows experiences.
      Hopefully in the next release they implement 4g, but if you pair via Bluetooth from your pro to your windows phone you can have your windows phone sitting in your pocket and have the tablet automatically start a connection, like a automated wireless hotspot, you can only do this via windows8.1 though :)

  I got this email as well, I'm still deciding between surface pro 1 and 2. Does anyone know when this deal ends? I don't think it mentioned it in the email.
