  • After you use up the $30/1GB, switch to Internode (which also uses Optus) at $40/5GB.

    • Internode doesn't do Prepaid Wireless Broadband.

      Virgin does.

          It's just not the same thing.

          Internode:
          "
          You are free to change plans during this contract. However, if you cancel your service during the initial 24 month period, you are liable for an early cancellation charge of $199.
          "

          • @alexportnoy: So sign up for the ONE month contract.
            Yes, there is a fee for the sim the 1st time around.

            Let's do the sums to get 5GB
            Virgin = 2 x $30 + 1 x $50 = $110
            Internode = $25 + $15 + $40 = $80

            Not looking so good now, is it?

            "But Virgin also sell larger blocks" I hear you cry.

            Virgin's cheapest block of data is $50/3GB or $100/6GB, which is $16.66/GB.
            Internode's is $40/5GB, or $8/GB.
            That is less than half the price.
