Village Cinemas - Gold Class Season Pass - 4 Tickets for $80

170

Far cheaper then scouring Gumtree and Ebay for $30 second hand tickets. Get 4 Gold Class tickets for $80. That's $20 each according to my Asian maths calculations.

-Available for all sessions except Friday/Saturday after 5pm (you should be at home on OzBargain anyway)
-From Feb 27th to April 02

I believe the tickets can be shared with your partner/friend as that's what we did last year.
-Surcharge for 3D films

Terms and Conditions:
The Gold Class Season Pass entitles one person to attend four Gold Class movies screening at any
Village Cinemas Gold Class location between Thursday February 27 and Wednesday April 2, 2014
(excluding sessions Friday and Saturday nights after 5pm). Each Pass contains four vouchers. Each
voucher is to be printed and surrendered at the cinema box office for a ticket, redeemed online or
via our Contact Centre (a $5 booking fee per ticket applies for all online and Contact Centre
bookings). Vouchers are not valid for group bookings, movie marathons, special events, gift shop
products or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated. Not valid for
redemption via our mobile website. Surcharges apply 3D films. It is the responsibility of the holder of
the voucher to ensure that it is used for a session that screens prior to the expiry date. The expiry
date is not extendable. This voucher is not transferable or refundable and is not for re-sale and lost
or stolen vouchers will not be replaced. Any advertisement, circulation or publication, which
includes a reference to movie vouchers, must first be approved in writing by Village Cinemas. This
offer is valid at the following Village Cinemas Locations - Century City, Crown, Doncaster, Geelong,
Jam Factory, Fountain Gate, Karingal, Knox, Rivoli, Southland, Sunshine, Hobart & Albury. It may take
up to 60 minutes after purchasing this voucher before it can be redeemed online or at the Ticket

That's $20 according to my Asian maths calculations.

I don't know why I found this line so amusing.

Asian Maths - In year 9 an asian scored 101% test result in advanced maths
Teacher was an old frail white woman at a private catholic school

    • Almost as good at maths is their "Season Pass".. for 4 tickets. Back in the day a Season Pass was for a whole year.. but i guess there are 4 season in a year? Oh dear!

  • May want to add Only apply to certain states/locations only?
    Not familiar the suburb list

    Booking fee applies.

WTF.. they are getting as bad as ticketek. $5 for booking online?

    • Not if you book on site (only for online/telephone bookings).

    • +1

pass has no booking fee, vouchers do ($5) if redeemed via web/phone instead of on-site :)

  • Hmm tempting!!! Can I just confirm that Gold Class seats come with complimentary unlimited Popcorns and Coke?

    • +6

ive been a couple of times in the past few months and didnt get anything complimentary. You have to buy everything.

      • boooooooo. That sucks.

Can you combine with these offers?
        http://villagecinemas.com.au/offers/food-and-beverages

Edit to add: Found it. Nope.

Vouchers are not valid…in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated

Although, would you be able to use it with this?
        https://shop.villagecinemas.com.au/e-vouchers/5-small-combo.…

        • You 100% can buy those combo's in Gold Class if you want, as well as that $5 small combo one.

        • It's not about the ticket, it's about the T&C of this particular offer.

        • I find cheap Gift Cards on Gumtree/eBay are a good deal for food/candy if you can get them.

    • +2

      It does not.

The only thing complimentary you can ask for is a glass of water.

      • +2

Correct, it is the Hoyts "La Premiere" that includes bottomless drinks and popcorn. It's not as good as Gold Class though - you are merely in better seats in a sectioned-off area in a normal theatre… ymmv.

        • Do the seats still recline?

  • +2

Best to go into your nearest village cinemas to avoid the booking fee

  • Good price for the tickets. Just don't buy any of their food or beverages at the bar…

  • +2

Good price, shit movies on offer though! They've made the cut off just before Captain America comes out, how convenient!

    • +1

The Wolf of Wall Street, 12 Years a Slave, and Dallas Buyers Club are all currently showing in Gold Class, and Monuments Men comes out in a few weeks. There's your four good movies right there.

    • Blue Is The Warmest Color

      • Doesn't seem to be showing in Gold Class at the moment unfortunately.

  • +1

God I miss Gold Class since moving to Canberra. Dendy has the same thing but they never do deals like this.

    • +3

Surely there's a thousand other things you miss in Canberra that comes before Gold Class?!

      • I didn't know I was making a list…

  • +3

Think the biggest thing to notes is you can only use them between Feb 27th to April 02.

And there are not many major releases between now and then.
