can you download nokia drive (here maps) to this as now microsoft opened it up to the windows phone community or is it still nokia exclusive?

    • +1

my htc 8x can download here maps, here maps and nokia drive is two different apps.
here map now is available to all WPs. nokia drive still remains as exclusive.

    • I believe the Ativ S has AU/NZ maps in Navigon. It's a good app, once that's been around for a while. I've used both Navigon and HERE - it would be nice to have both, but Navigon can replace HERE Drive if need be (and has some extra features).

  • Better deal than a Moto-G ?

      spec wise android always win.
      thats all i can say.

I would actually put this phone above the Moto-G. But that's just my personal opinion.

If you care more about camera quality and amount of internal memory, then this is a better deal. Provided you can live with a smaller number of apps, since WP8 is still a maturing platform. And the tiled interface. You either hate it, or like it, or start to get bored of it.

If you want Google app ecosystem, latest Android version (4.4), run all sorts of ROMS, tinker with the OS and a quad core CPU for gaming, get the MotoG.

Has been on the JBhifi factory scoop site for a number of months

    • quite a while in fact.

It did disappear for about a month though (as I was humming and harring about it, then thought 'why not' - went to buy it and it was gone), so it must have only just been relisted.

        • I did the same thing (h&h) then decided to get a sony xperia sp for $55 more from centre.com awesome phone

        • Yeah, you should have "umm'd and ahh'd" instead.

  • 1GB RAM, Nokia 625 has only 512MB.

I returned the phone after two weeks usage, due to it randomly shutdown. Googling shows it is a wildly seen problem without fix. Other than this it is good phone for this price.

There's a firmware upgrade for this now.

Why have people been neging lovbargain's post - areyou working for the vendor? I just hit + to undo one of those.
I also had a win phone that spontaneously shutdown (not this one, a much earlier model) and it was incredibly frustrating.

Almost bought this phone about 6 months ago but was turned off by the lack of 4G.

  • Just checked on JB Hi-Fi and its expired!
