      • You're most welcome :)

really good price for the 240

    • +1

We hadn't done a good deal for a while, so we decided to do this!

      DR

  • bought 2 240gb, haha, exactly 60 days before I go overseas.

    • Congrats mate. Good luck and have fun when you go overseas!

      DR

  • does this comes with the 9.5mm adaptor?

    • @wiltonson

      Yes it does.

It may actually be slightly cheaper from Amazon, as that Crucial SSD sale is still active (depending on the conversion rate you get; if you have a 28 Degrees MasterCard for instance).

But this is local stock, which will arrive sooner and that also makes any warranty claims easier (even though Amazon are fairly reputable in that regard).

    • +3

Local warranty, the item will reach your door a lot quicker plus the Amazon deal is not available anymore.

      DR

      • Yeah I said all that.

Actually the Amazon deal is still available. The prices for 120/240/480 M500 SSDs haven't changed on Amazon since that deal was posted and there's still stock available.

        Just keeping the options open.

  • Do you have any special on the 480Gb one?

    • You know, you could buy 2 x 240. I think that would get you close to 480.

      • +2

And how do you fit 2 x 240 into a laptop with one drive slot?

        • +8

You know, you could buy another laptop. I think that would get you close to two drive slots.

        • or u could do the cheaper way of using a optical drive caddy. that would be better considering who really uses the cd drive nowadays.

    • @wong10029

Ill have to speak to management and see if we are able to secure a good deal for everyone.

      DR

      • Possibly interested in the 480GB drive as well so please give management a poke with a sharp stick.

        • +1

          @foobar

Sorry mate, just checked, no 480GB-500GB SSD deals today. But we will keep checking to in the next week or so for ones we can snap up.

          DR

  • Thanks op, ordered one 240gb :)

    • @sw0rdy

      You're welcome :)

      DR

  • Thanks OP ordered a 240.

    • @netwolf

      You're welcome. Enjoy!

      DR

  • Cheers OP. Waiting to find out what your best OB deal on the 480g & 960g units might be?

  • +1

Can you do any deals on 4TB drives just need the storage, speed doesn't matter

    • +2

      @Cataclysm

Ill have to speak to management since we did have the Buffalo 4TB External HDD for pretty cheap previously. Might be able to get a similar deal.

      DR

      • +1 for me also. Need a few 4TB drives.

  • Reminder

    Remaining SSD's:

    Crucial 240GB - 34 Remaining
    Corsair 120GB - 20 Remaining

They're selling like hot cakes. Get them while you still can!

  • any offer with 480 or 500 gigs?

  • I see these deals and I keep wanting one, but I keep talking myself out of it because I don't really need one lol I think its going to take my old HDD to fail before taking the plunge!

    • +1

      @greydaniel

I know how you feel. Your stuck between should i just buy it and hold it until i really do need it since its a good price now or should i wait until my HDD dies to buy a new one.

      First world problems haha!

      DR
