Previous deals for discussion, feedback and comparison

  • Beverages are not included (including tea and coffee)

    Are tea and coffee included?

    • No.

      • ridiculous since you're paying $38 a head

no alcohol or soft drinks would be understandable

another option is to book on their website,$39.50 per person:
    http://www.spgrestaurantsandbars.com/australia/sydney/the-co…

    • and receive 25% off your Beverage order.

Children rate is $32.50 per child, and is classified as a child if between the ages of 3-12 years old.

    • Do you have to prepay on the website? If so, that is one more reason that going direct beats groupon.

Groupon should not be allowed to advertise the full RRP on this deal as it is clearly available elsewhere for significantly less.

What's corn exchange? You bring corn, and they give you seafood? :D

    So what the deal here?

If you book via Groupon, it's $79 for two - with restriction upto 4 vouchers (8persons max) and must book by 3 May.

If you book directly on their website, it's $39.5 for one. You can dine alone and book whenever. No restriction.

    • For ppl who have referral credit earned,it is a good deal.

So, this is not a bargain.

The OP's price is the same as that found at the restaurant website - But With More Restrictions/Conditions (minimum of two, must book by, valid hours, etc.).

    • Well, to be fair, they are both special prices that are only valid until 31st May.
If you walked in off the street, they would not allow you to chow down for this price.

So, the website price should be the bargain.

This group buy deal is the same price but with more restrictions etc.

not recommended. poor food quality, poor food selection and poor taste. For this price better to go to Garden Buffet at the Casino (or any RSL buffet…)

    • really its that bad? my expectation is that for $38 and at a 4-5 star hotel one gets superior quality

      • i at there last month during the last promotion, and i ate there about 5 years ago.

I will never go there ever again…i left the place hungry.

  • I've tried it last year, would never go back.

  • I'm also not going back there.
