The cheapest London to Australia deal I've seen thus far. Airasia is not even comparable to this full fare direct connections flight. GBP 399 return, ALL INCLUSIVE.
Sale starts 13/06/2009 and ends 30/06/2009. Travel period between September 1 and December 9.

zhenjie Im not going to vote this negative, however, the offer stipulates (and website only allows) travel from London to Aus and return - not Aus to London return. Unless anyone figures out another method of getting this fare you will be stuck with around $1400 being the lowest fare.
Even one way from London to sydney the best I could find is around 541 pounds.
I think this is for people who book from London to OZ!
I cannot see a fare less that $1420.5 starting from OZ.
All valid comments guys. I realise it was London-Sydney BUT, I'll wait until the sale is released. I've never heard of a sale which was only in one particular direction.
I have to reluctantly agree. Whenever Jetstar have their sales they tend to be departing Australia only. eg, if they have Syd -> Honolulu for AU$249 its never the same if you book a return flight from Honolulu to Sydney - its full price. Plus, the site only allows choice of London or Manchester for origin.
I suppose the best we can hope for is if AirAsia will decide to respond with something

These are likely to be in N class (no mileage accrual) sale fares, so check the fare rule if this matters to the person who wants to use these fares to escape to Australia. :)
To state the obvious, with the AUD strong against the GBP, this is a bargain for Poms and Paddies wishing to bring relatives here for a holiday or their younger relo's here for a backpacker trip. :)
+ve except that this deal is really for getting international tourists INTO Australia and as such isn't really a bargain for Aussies.
Could be a bargain for Aussies looking to see long lost rellies who live in mother England! Have some friends who pay for their parents to fly over here to Australia every couple of years when a sale like this comes up, because it's cheaper than their whole family of 4 flying over to the UK to see them.
What an incredible deal for people in the UK. It's true that return flights from the UK to Australia tend to be cheaper, but the cheapest I can ever remember is about 500 pounds.

Title should show only in British Pounds, not OZ dollars, because it is not available in Australia and the ad is misleading (as if available in Australia).
