I'm getting a bit underwhelmed by the dick smith sales, the staff card no longer works and they seem to have very limited stock which you only find out about when they refund you several days later.

What I think happened was, when the THANKYOU coupon was shown here, they disabled it. This was the staff card coupon when applied. They removed it after that.
The only reason you would get it in store is because of ignorant staff members.
You no longer work for the same company as DSE, so no discount. Seems simple to me, what's your problem?

Welcome to 2014, man. Like PainToad said, the only reason it might work in-store is if the staff member has been living under a rock (highly possible). DS is officially no longer honouring Woolies staff discount cards. Woolworths sold them nearly 18 months ago for crying out loud.
Got a reply from online support. They said, "please be inform to place order on its normal price and we will refund the discount."
This is when I said it's a Woolworths staff card.

To be fair, the website only says out of stock when you click it. Most shops I've been to never add it to cart to check. It's also back in stock as of right now.
Titanfall is an awesome game, well worth the money the only downside is that it's using the DLC route so while the content is awesome there isn't a lot of it.
Typical of EA every game they're releasing is a DLC addon sort of game. Got to pay for the base game then even more money to get the DLC which should have been in the game to begin with.

My hand literally hit my face reading this comment. It's an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER GAME ONLY. By definition it would be 100% unplayable if you were able to play it offline.
I'd hardly say it's lacking content. It's a multiplayer only game yes, but the 15 maps it ships with (far more than your average shooter launches with) are all excellent. They have spent a whole ton of time with each of the maps to make them balanced, interesting and fun to play it. I'd rather 15 excellent maps than 50 shit ones.

Yeah i believe the order has to be $99 or over to get free delivery otherwise you pay delivery unless Dick Smith is doing a free delivery store wide deal but at the moment they're not.
ps4 eye at $72 is not bad, but I only have 2 PS4 games so I might as well wait for it to drop under $50 when I have a few more games to use it with. Surely they'll release the Eye 2 too.

Yes, I have BF4 on PS4 too, but it lags a lot more than the Xbox One version.

Got 271 hrs racked up on forza 5. Also playing AC4 Black flag which there is little to no difference between the two consoles.
Xbox One also allows you to simply purchase games from US/Can for a cheaper rate, just by simply changing the region of the console. No need to create a US based account like you do on PS4.

Higher resolution does NOT equate to better games or gaming experience.
Microsoft have Azure server in Australia in which games that take advantage of it are getting 16-30ms pings on average. Sony don't have the infrastructure resources to support their users like Microsoft can.

I understand those that do (cheaper games, superior graphics), and it's cool if they want to do that.
Prefer not having the hassle of rebuilding windows every now and again, upgrading hardware, playing against bots, etc.
You only have to do that sort of thing if you have poor knowledge of computers, which you seem to.
Consoles really do seem to suit you, from how you've handled having a PS4 and a Xbox, I wouldn't want to see what would happen if you had a PC.

Just because I choose not to game on PC, doesn't mean I don't have any or don't have any experience with them. I've looked after multi-national IT environments of 50,000+ seats. How bout you?
I do find it funny when PC gamers think they're computer wizards when 9/10 they don't even work in IT or have any qualifications.

I have both consoles aswell and would consider myself a Sony fanboy. But atm It's the xbox one I've been using the most. PS4 just got Infamous which is good but I've had all the other xbox exclusives the last 5 months that have been alot more enjoyable. Neither console is bad but on games alone the xbox is better at the moment.

I thought the new rules say as long as you can prove it's in you check in luggage it's okay too. Either way, easier to just carry it. I'll bring the game discs as well and boom, I've got GST back on those and the extra controller :D

Hmm added a set of Turtle beach PX4's to my cart and was unable to complete the order as it would only let me use Click and Collect but no local stores have stock. It shows Home Delivery as an option when you add it to the cart but not when trying to Checkout… frustrating!
