Hi Guys, I'm 100% Certain that this is an absolute steal! I'm in the process of updating the covers on my lovely Klippan couch probably just over 3 years old now! and the covers have fadded, and don't look as vibrant as when we first got them, but that's expected and I'm not here to complain! :)

It could be an error I'm not sure! there was no info on the deal that I could find anywhere.. but I'll confirm here I went yesterday 26/3/14 and the cashier was amazed of what happened after swiping my ikea card! $1!! she was like do you want to get another spare haha.. probably at least 10 others in stock that I could visually see! so I've only taken one… don't be greedy!! I was happy to pay $50 but I'm even happier to pay $1 !

Infact I just talked the wife out of buying a new chase 3 seat lounge for a crazy $1,899 ! She's still happy and we have saved alot of $$!! You can to!

    This has gotta be a better deal then the $4.99 step stool! :D haha This couch is pretty popular so I'm going to take a wild punt that alot of people will want to rush to get these at the crazy $1 price!! better get there before friday or even today !

          No need for NBN. I pinned all my hopes on it but got sick of waiting for the politicians to do their job so had Telstra Ultimate Cable connected about 18 months ago. I get over 110mbps all day long (inner West suburb of Brisbane) and get it on a 200Gb plan with a landline included for $90 per month. Rock solid too. $10 more and I could get 500Gb and $10 more again I think it jumps to 'unlimited'

          Ha, completely agree :) I frequently spend time in a rural area and it's in the shadow of a hillside. Zero TV reception, zero radio reception, zero ADSL/Cable or NBN connectivity and zero Mobile reception. I've blown over $4000 on huge mast rigs & yagi antennas over the last 6 years to try to get a trickle of mobile signal pumped into the Wireless Broadband modem I have at this property. I have succeeded and when the weather & temperature is right I can get an ultra unreliable signal bouncing off a hillside about 20kms away via the Yagi. Usually takes me approx 3 hours of non-stop hell just to check in and print a boarding pass!

          So yes, I do know exactly how lucky I am when I'm in the city… at least from a connectivity perspective anyway :)

          not to be a party pooper on your internet troubles but portable satellite gear has been available for a very long time and it is reliable.. not to mention 100% coverage aus wide.

          even on a cloudy/rainy day I can get 1mbit almost anywhere in the country..

          Absolutely. Satellite is the only thing closest to a solution but as this isn't a principal place of residence we cannot take advantage of the Govt. grant so it would end up costing many thousands plus a big monthly fee to keep it connected. A permanent resident neighbour had it installed a while ago and managed to get it all for $99 installed and although it's a lot better than my Yagi system it still seems very unreliable. I was tempted to blast my property with Wifi direct from their Satellite Modem/Router but when I saw the dismal speed & poor reliability I decided not to.

    My wife once bought a cover for a particular IKEA couch just because it was $1. It was in the "as is" section (brand new undamaged, just discontinued).

    A year later she was like why did I buy this and sold it on eBay.

    Well, since IKEA don't sell that model anymore, it's a rare item… sold for $70.

    Went to Tempe IKEA, they only had White and Black. Both scanned at $50 each, even with family member card. Hopefully my post saves a few ozbargainers unneeded trips :)
