Can you share the code? Or is it unique?

    • yeap, please

  • No code?

  • From which Caltex did you receive it? I added in petrol from my local Caltex-Woolworths yesterday but didn't receive the docket.

    • Woolworth/Caltex @ Abbotsford Rd Bowen Hills Brisbane. Q.

  • i doubt its a unique code OP so please share..

  • The BWS15 was not unique so I hope the same for this one. The Masters back end POS system is not used that well so I hope the generic code is their method for this time.

  • Yes share the code please!

  • +3

the code i got is PET15. it doesn's look to be unique.

    • Thanks for sharing. I tried the code but got this message:

We're sorry but we were unable to validate your Promotional voucher code.
We were unable to validate your Promotional voucher code at this time. Please check that the promotion code you are trying to use has been activated or is still active.

      • +1

maybe it is linked to an everyday rewards card

    • Did you scan your Everday Rewards card or something? Because that may link to the card you've added to the Masters website (if any).

    • Sorry will follow up my code which seemed the same and no card used. But there is a barcode on bottom of docket.?

    • Pet15 not PET15

  • yes i did scan my card. it might be linked

  • The online code is PET15 and the barcode is 9353001847121.

Is it possible to create a barcode if you only have the numbers?

  • Online site says unable to validate code

15% Discount voucher at MASTERS at local masters home improvement store. Can be used on line.

Whenever I see the words "on line" I always think of this:

    Negs expected.

Item in the shopping cart was weber Q 200

    • ^ Probably because you added a Weber…. The best you'll get on Master's deals with a Weber is a $20~ discount. (Worked for me once)

      • +1

Not true. I used this same voucher last time on a weber Q200. After price-beating DJ's whow were running 10% off, I ended up getting it for about $290 if i recall correctly.

  • It could be similar to the BWS15 one in which the conditions was that you had to buy outdoor/gardening things. What people did was buy a $500 Weber BBQ and a $2 garden hoe and got the full 15% off the whole thing.

Just tried with a hose part (Gardening thing) but that did not work.

    • Just tried it with one of each major category but still received the message:

I am assuming that the code will work but they have not turned it on right now.

drop the Daniel at the end, we know your name

        • It's a habit. I usually write Regards Daniel on the bottom of my emails so that translates to forums like this one. Too many people also have strange login names so it is good to provide a real name other OBers can associate with at the meets. It's funny, people sometimes reply to my posts but still call me danielh.

          Regards
          Daniel :-)

Are you related to Pauline Hanson?

    • I bought a powertool (Hitachi drill) on BWS15. Not sure if the gardening thing was true?

  • +17

35+ votes for a deal that no one is actually using. AWESOME!

  • Buy a few dollars worth of petrol. Get 15% off expensive dyson vacuum cleaner.

What is commercial quantities? I don't think OB's will buy $5-00 petrol [subject to green A4 sign] and fill car up 10 times. And, if able to purchase on fuel discount cycle - well Obed at the best?

Can you explain what this line means? What is OB?

      OzBargainer's

      • Sorry for neg, tablet screen is out of alignment. Will make it up. Will not abbreviate in future.

  • +2

They said this in live chat:

Thank you for your patience Michael. At this time you will need to place the order for the full price. Then take a photo of your receipt and send it through to our email at [email protected] along with your order number. We will then refund the 15% back to you.

    • +6

Gotcha, thanks. That is a lame arrangement.

      • +2

yea totally, why have a code in the first place if you dont plan for enabling it for online use.

      • Damn! I'm betting they are hoping people are too lazy to go to that effort to get the 15% refund.

Plus I would hate to buy something and then later find out the purchase wasn't eligible for the 15% discount because of an exclusion in their T&C.

If they are that worried, why not generate unique codes!

    • If so, you might be able to sign up as a new customer and receive 5% off, place a click and collect order, and then receive another 15% off when you pick up the item.

  • I purchase a shower screen on the weekend using the BWS15 code (15% off), used click and collect @ St Mary's, saved $55. No issues so Id imagine this is the same??

    • I think it is a bit different this time as they must have realised that the BWS15 code went viral and no one actually went to BWS to buy an item as a consequence.

This time it looks like they are forcing people to pay full price and only get the refund if they send in a copy of the Caltex receipt for petrol.

      Regards
      Daniel

No deal, this code isnt working from me either, tried buying a sprinkler.

  • No one went to Masters yet to try it out ?

    • It has a barcode so it should definitely work in store.

  • Would this work …
    1) Get someone to scan a receipt and upload it here
    2) Print it out
    3) Go through one of those self checkouts in store (i.e. scan the barcode yourself)

  • +1

40 votes already, including mine. Wonder how many votes it would be getting if it actually worked.

  • +2

Despite what the title says, this is not store specific. I received my voucher today at the Woolworths Caltex in Ferntree Gully (Melb)

    • Will wait for you to try out 1st at Masters and post the screenshot of the barcode here :D

      • Sure, might try it tomorrow, if I need something.

        • got my 'voucher' at the bottom of the printed receipt from woolies petrol Woodville Rd Villawood/Guildford and used it at Masters Chullora. The 15% discount shows up against each individual item

  • +1

Code was accepted for me, had $169 of plumbing products, discount given of $2.85, a whopping 1.68%, might try in store with a bar code.

  • Just went to Caltex and got fuel. Every customer today gets the voucher upon purchase of petrol. The voucher is valid until 27 April.

    Hope this helps.

  • it just worked for me now. i also had a washing machine in card. didnt apply the discount to that but just to the ironing board
EDIT: realized code doesnt apply to appliances

    • You can't apply things to appliances. They are the ones who apply.

  • only applies to one item at a time. I added four of a 70 dollar item - gave me a $10.50 discount (15% of 70bucks). i imagine it will be the same in store, i.e. only discounts for one item at once. so might screw you on delivered items, but in store it only just slows you down!

  • discount only applies to cheapest single item in cart :(

  • +1
    • Ok I know if I tell this, it will let the Cat out of the door now :P
Made an order for 2 X Laura Ashley Wallpapers + Wallpaper Paste, got 15% off on both. The CS Agent applied the discount manually and charged it to my credit card on file. Was done in 5 min :D

    code is case sensitive.

  • Anyone know if we do click and collet, do we still need to show them the discount coupon?

    • Need to show ID only n sms/email with order num.

  • Checked with fuel station in a rural town in Queensland. According to their advice offer started 10/4/2014 one minuit after midnight. Some of issues could have been some Masters stores had not had time to run the discount up grade.

Note there are exclusions including appliances, commercial quanties, gift cards, wish cards and other offers you have.

To qualify, for voucher, you must spend $30+ on fuel, fair enough. No loyality card required. I am now off to Woolworths for 4c voucher, and then next $30 fuel and then to get some more boy toys and garden work items.
But before purchases will confirm discount
    Will give feedback.

From comments this seems to be OK now.

  • Can anyone confirm how long we have to get a voucher from Caltex? Is it just for fuel purchased today (fri) or over the weekend? Thnx

    • If you want to save yourself purchasing petrol just print and scan this receipt http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/39370/22103/image.jpg

      It works.

    • No you do not need to buy petrol. Just log in online and put in your items. At the checkout, enter in "Pet15" to receive 15% off the total. I just did a test of one item I picked out of every major category and my $173.24 basket was reduced 15% to $147.25.

      Regards
      Daniel

      • But if you want to go in store to try and price match, or want an item that's not available for C&C, then you will need a barcode to scan to claim your 15% off.

      • I just noticed that apparently people think that the discount only applies to a single item. Not sure what I did different but my entire 'Cart' was given the discount and it contained a variety of items across the various ranges.

For those people who have problems with finding items online, I had the same problem last week when I wanted to use the BWS15 code. What I ended up doing is wander through my local Masters and note down (iPhone pics) all the items I wanted to buy and then look them up (for that store as I knew it would be available) to add to my cart. Surprisingly (for me), a double sided Hoe/rake I wanted was not there but I just called them up and the person manually added the item to my Cart and then pushed my purchase through (with the BWS15 discount).

The order was ready for me the next day.

Basically, it can be a pain but if you know the item is in your local Masters (and perhaps took pictures of the item code), you can order it online and use the Pet15 code.

        Regards
        Daniel

  • Im wanting to buy trees so most arent even on the site. I need petrol anyway so just wondering if they're still printing out vouchers on receipts. Will go to print out the receipt upload on here if not. Thnx to whoever uploaded :)

FYI I was looking to buy a hot water system plus install - this docket covers both - sweet

  • just did my purchase today at local Masters, and the 15% off code applied to all items, sweet!

  • So has anyone worked out what's going on with this code yet? My basket is meant to come down to $444 but only comes down to $486. Dunno which items are being discounted and which aren't, but I'm not placing an order until I can figure it out or it figures itself out.

    • Nevermind. If you add anything that's in the catalog then it doesn't count and charges you full price for those items so avoid those. Pick them up in-store or do a separate order for them if you want catalog stuff.

  • Doesnt work on dyson as its an applicance I guess?
Where is the best place to buy a DC35?

    • Someone the other day was saying when myer or David Jones has 20% off, get Masters to beat it by 10%

    • Would going in store and getting them to put the discount through work? I'm after a Dyson myself..

      • That would depend completely on the person at the service counter's interpretation of appliance… as they won't price match appliances!!!

I had a stream mop go through at Xmas time, but the woman thought about it for a bit, then said "What the heck, it's Xmas, enjoy!"

  • definitely works in-store. used self-serve checkout. coupon barcode wouldn't scan so assistant entered the barcode number instead. score!

  • Went to caltex today, promotion is still on until 21st and barcodes expires on 28th. I filled up 6 litres.. Still used a 4c voucher heheheheheh

  • +1 since I already had a suitable receipt in my wallet but only realised due to this post.

Code says PET15 (all upper case) and says redeem online or instore.
But there is a barcode and my everyday rewards number, maybe the the code is generic but the barcode may be specific to your EDR account.

Thanks, just bought a Grand Hall GT5 BBQ which was 50% off, then another 15% off on top. $700 BBQ down to $296.

  • If anyone is after a DC59, now's a good time to get one. Buy before mothers day and get a free cordless tool kit worth $99. Also get Masters to price beat JB or TGG for 10% off $545.

  • +1

    This is still working online

    • I checked first thing this morning and it was… Just checked then (12:24am Tues) and it still is!!!
