To anyone thinking about this, just make sure it supports your carriers frequency before buying.

      "3G: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
      4G: LTE - all versions"

Will work with all Australian Carriers for 2G, 3G and 4G :)

They've had a lot of negs (over 120 in the last month) don't know if it's worth the risk.

    • its through the us ebay 'daily deals' site so i imagine it would be pretty safe

    • +3

I also note the feedback rating is a rather average 98.8%. In my buying I stsrt to get reasonable confidence at 99.5% plus.

    • +8

      Well, that was useful.

          at least one douche confirmed

  • seems like iphone5c are about to price drop

    • +1

it is just a overpriced remake phone, that's why I had a very cheap deal upgrade with Virgin, 40 plan with 1GB data and 9 bucks for the 16GB handset, plus 2 months free

    • +13

Sounds perfectly … erm … logical.

      • +25

If I was the gf, I'd get one right away.

        • +2

I'd get two just to be sure.

Can you imagine how demented someone would sound actually saying something like that to another person, much less someone you supposedly like/love? I hope it's just a wind up and that there really aren't people like this on the planet.

Well, we're still together, so obviously she smartly steered away from the abomination that is the 5c.

        • let me guess… shes's ugly?

        • God bless her.

      You certainly are the one

My personal opinion of anyone you bases their personal opionion of someone on the phone they buy massively massively drops…

  • About AU$585 - quite a saving.

One has to weight the saving against the loss of a local warranty (in reality for two years) and the loss of future local 'out of warranty' replacements.

  • Starting to see a few more in the wild. Australian RRP for current iPhone range compared to US disappointingly high.

    • +6

Why do you think that is? Because Australian's are the laughing stock of the world. We pay top dollar for low end crud. Too many idiots in this country.

      • We pay top dollar for low end crud.

        I agree.

Too many idiots in this country.

        I do not agree.

        • Too many idiots in this country.

          I do not agree.

Me either, we definitely need a few more.

        • +1

          I do not agree.

I wasn't sure until I saw Abbott elected as PM

        • +2

Better PM than last 3 PM's we've had

      • …guess how much we will pay if crapple starts to pay the tax in OZ

    good deal

      then wheres your upvote?

i think he was being sarcastic

  • I would not squander away nearly 600 Australian Dollars for a non-flagship cell phone released 9 months ago.

    • but for current gen 32gb iphone its pretty damn good!

  • they are iphone, they will sell, am trying to get a few but when I added more than 1 to the cart, they charge import fee, so I am only getting one, very confident I'll make a profit out of it! THanks op!

30 separate orders, addressed to work, home, parents, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin etc. BRODEN!

I am interested, but support is an issue. What happens if something goes wrong with the phone? Will Apple Australia support this phone?

    • +3

They will not be able to. They don't stock the US model of the phone, so they cannot swap the faulty one with a refurbished one. Since this is not from Apple directly, you won't get the 14 day no question asked money back guarantee either.

Basically, if you are really concerned about warranty, you will either need to have a friend or relative in the US or you know someone who travels to US a lot.

Price is good, though for me, one of the reasons for buying Apple is the 14 days no question asked money back guarantee. It is one good thing out of the hefty Apple tax.

Thanks for the info. I think the risk for me is too great!

559 and about 25 shipping. some kinda warranty is better than no warranty. however there is limit of 1 per customer.

I dont think its still worth it but some ppl may like it.
