Does it mean it won't work if it is re-installed in future?

    • I think so.

    • Another giveaway of the day type deal you know the one's where the program must be installed and activated by a certain date or within 24 hours. You lose the license when you need to re-install in the future. These are quite useless for those that regularly re-install Microsoft Windows. It's nearly a marketing gimmick.

      • I have often wondered if installing such apps into a Virtual Machine would work, to get around this limitation?

As long as you don't accidentally delete the VM file, it should be usable across many PCs, shouldn't it? With the added advantage that you can specify the VM doesn't have internet access, thereby neutering any adware/spyware/trojans?

Anyone have experience in this area? I've never used a VM, really curious.

  • I didn't get the registration code after completing the installation.
I wonder if it's something they send out…otherwise it's just a trial version with limitations.
