PS Vita 64 GB Memory Card - $97 AUD Including Delivery @ Superufo

170

As the title says, PS Vita 64 GB Memory Card for $97~ AUD delivered! I've seen these things retail for well over $120~ so definitely some savings to be had. They have some other nice savings as well including the 32 GB version.

This isn't really a limited sale as such, just found this posted on reddit and thought I would share it here with everyone else. Credit goes to Barnolde for the link.

Thanks for that, I saw it too on reddit, unfortunately I still cannot justify paying $100 for a 64GB card that Sony has artificially inflated =(.

    • Yep. I'm looking at amazon.com now. Brand-name 64GB Class 10 UHS-1 MicroSDXC memory (with SD adapter) goes for 39.99 USD + 7.19 USD delivery. So roughly half price of what Sony VITA memory costs.

Sony intends to be about 2x more expensive. Incidentally this stick costs about half the price of a discounted $199 Vita, which puts things in perspective (again). Of course I am not arguing this deal is not cheap, but rather that Sony are living in 1999, as it were. They had similar pricing with Memory Stick on PSP (roughly double the cost of MicroSD/SD).

      • I wouldn't complain too much, If they said it cost this much because read and write speeds are a minimum of 50/50 MB/s . The thing is they perform like low-end class 10 cards with speeds struggling to pass 8 MB/S read

  • It's actually quite a fair price, they retail lowest 8800yen, add in the shipping to Australia and whack on the exchange rate and the price is literally just that. SuperUFO is also quite good, I've used them before.

  • Good price,

  • Good price relative to RRP. Expensive overall though. I'll see if I can get a decent deal at DSE/EB so I can claim GST back at least when I travel overseas.

    • Aus doesn't sell 64gb.

    • Only available in Japan. Plus to claim TRS you have to make a purchase over $300.

  • Good price for a stupidly overpriced product. Pity those '2 Micro SD in a MS' adapters can't be made for the Vita.

  • still around AU$110 when selecting EMS as postage…which postage is better paying through paypal???

  • Superufo have this price for sometime now. Got mine 3 weeks back at the same price (post AUD conversion) and have been loving it. My card is now more than 40gb full in capacity. Though I don't approve of Sony pricing but I cannot complain as I bought their product instead of boycotting it.

    • what postage did you choose??

my friend had no issue's with the standard plus the compulsory registered mail fee (i think it was something like $2-$3)

Yup, I did the airmail with compulsory $1.70 something for registered. It still does not offer any tracking once it leaves port of Hong Kong. Got it within 2 weeks of putting an order through.

  • 64gb ftw. I have one. Everything digital. The sales are too good

    • Agreed. True, these are stupidly overpriced for what they are, but this is still pretty good compared to the alternative of buying the games on physical media, dealing with having to carrying and ejecting/swapping game cartridges, and missing out on all of the free PS Plus games and other discounted games from the PSN store which require storage.

  • Placed an order total was $97.45 AUD with paypal payment, was going to purchase one off an eBay seller for around $111 Thanks!! :)

    • No problem, glad I could help :)

  • How long did you guys find it takes to deliver to Syd? 7-21 days seems vague lol. I saw one person above got it within two weeks… hmm.

  • ordered one for USD 87.18…had some balance in USD…payment via paypal is bit weird though…

  • this has now dropped in price to 82.59USD bringing it to 94.81AUD delivered (using paypal conversion)

  • Got posted on the 2nd of May just received mine in the mail today thanks again! :D

  • Currently $91.60 AUD, just purchased, thanks OP.

  • thanks for posting this!
