  • Please post shipping rates too.

  • I punched a few post codes into the order form :)

    Sydney: $11
    Melbourne: $15
    Brisbane: $15
    Adelaide: $22
    Perth: $25

Or you can pickup from their store in North Rocks, NSW.

    • Adelaide: $22

      That ruin a bargain!

      • bloody hell what are they doing… hand delivering it!

you cant tell me they are not making money off that. either that or they need to find a better courier company.

      • My bad.

I might have caused them grief by returning 2 faulty video cards 3 times in the past :P

Maybe trying to deter others from Adelaide to buy from them :D

  • $25 to post to Perth! crazy

  • Better off with the 1Tb WD for $99.99 pickup Chatswood, NSW ($11 shipping), Finishes 17/7/9 at 9289.com

    • This Hitachi drive will be faster than the WD drive though.
      7200rpm v. 5400rpm

      • RPM isn't the be all and end all. the WD green is in the same league as many of the 7200s but yeah i think the Hitachi may be faster but cant be bothered finding benchmarks.

        • See the discussion in that deal. While rotational speed is not the only determinant of performance, it is more important than some may think.

I would not expect extraordinary performance from any 5400RPM drive, but that may be of little consequence to its practical use. I have no problem with my 5400RPM WD10EACS.

Mass storage for me is about capacity - speed is a significant plus, but no more so than power efficiency, low temperature or low noise/vibration.

  • Usually they used a next day delivery service. Multiple times I've ordered from IT Estate and the goods have arrived to my suprise, the next morning.

That's where the money's going. Good customer service, fast shipping. It's worth it imo.
