  • No Bluetooth?

maybe the manufacturer forgot to put bluetooth in the specifications.
…or maybe this $60 headunit doesn't have bluetooth.

i used my brain and found that the next model up does indeed have bluetooth (CA-CD800)

      No wifi?
      No Blu ray?
      no DAB?

Hmm, I wonder f this model is the basic entry level version?

      I know, I'll google!

A-ha! Yes, why, yes it is.

Let's see, spend more money, get more features?, that makes sense!

      No Bluetooth?

Of course it does. "enjoy your favourite tracks, no matter what their source"-
No rep ever lied to sell junk.

      • Where is the lie?

Tell me what device you want to play and I will tell you how

The line I quoted is obviously bending the truth, when you have another model with more sources. But $109 extra to add bluetooth, which should now be considered a basic feature in car radios. More important that CD or tape drive.

        • The content was from Fusion Electronics Australia direct, I would ask them to correct any in-correct information but since your statement is not valid and the information they have supplied is correct and true, there's nothing I can do about how you feel.

Ok now to address your statement 'more important that CD or tape', in-store today we sold quiet a few non-bluetooth units, being a market where P platers legally are not allowed to talk on the phone regardless if on bluetooth or not plus our elderly market that do not wish to have a feature that they will never use, that's where these units come into play.

        • they probably meant format maybe?

  • No deal on the CD800 model ? I'd definitely jump on that if it was discounted in a similar way :)

  • Might just be me, but I can't see anywhere on the unit in the picture that would take a CD? Also will it play and be controlled from the Ipod?

    • It must take a CD some how the specs say it does. Unless it connects to some CD changer unit which is a possibility. If so that may be an extra monetary outlay.

    • The face flips forward and the cd drive is behind

      • Thanks. That explains it.

Great value for $60.. beats me having to use a 3.5mm to RCA and splitters on my bench system.

  • Does this or any other of the models have a remote ?

    • I doesn't come with one but we can get them for $25

  • Wow that's one old school head unit. Perfect for your 20 year old bogan-mobile, I guess.

    • is it the year 2033 already?

      • What I mean is, I haven't seen head units that look like the one in that photo in almost 20 years. Most cars these days have LCD screens/touch screens or other far more advanced systems.

        • Well they do say old school style is making a come back.

  • This brand will theft-proof your car for sure

Just don't put the Fusion sticker on the outside of your car and you should be ok :)

I've got to say, there is a lot of negative people on here when all they are trying to do is offer you a discount on something.

For a reasonable basic headunit it is a good deal.

Want more, then dont buy it.

Or wait until this person in their generosity offers a different unit that suits you one day…..

i love ozbargain, but the lack of manners in some people is shocking.

    Rant over.

    Hi All,
I received my unit today in the post. All in all a very nice headunit for the money.
Dropped it in my Mx-5 and it really looks the part. Ordered it Sunday, got it Friday.

    Thanks Rep.
