Was all over this like a rash. Damn limited to 36. Was so gunna Broden this.

Anyone else notice the kid on the front of the pack freaking out at when looking at the brand.

    • +1

+VE vote for the joke, -VE vote for "was gone to Broden it".

    • +11

Rash might be all over the butt if it contains methylisothiazolinone (or MI). Can anyone advise please?

The 2011 chemical alert was iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC). Woolies removed products in NZ but not Aust:

Update: Looks like the product does contain MI. Skip if sensitive (emotional?) bums are involved ;-)

If i could upvote that more i would.

I'm a new parent and i have eczema. Unfortunately i didnt know about this issue and the wipes we used contained methylisothiazolinone. I can tell you first hand that the until we worked out the source, it was one of the most painful bouts of eczema i've ever had.

Even after working out the source 3 weeks ago, i am still recovering.

        • Can confirm that neither methylisothiazolinone nor iodopropynyl butylcarbamate are to be found anywhere in the ingredients/preservatives listed for the Woolworths Once Upon a Time scented wipes I just received. Most posters have reported receiving these in lieu of the Woolworth Select brand shown in the picture, so the good new is they have a green light. At under 40c a pack, they're a great deal even if they only end up as glorified toilet or face wipes in future.

That said, I did plenty of reading when our little girl was a newborn and came to the consensus that the fragrance free Curash wipes in the pink packet were the least likely to offend. Better yet, they are really good quality and can occasionally be found at Woolworths or Chemist Direct in the bulk packs of 10 for under $20.

Didn't work for me at checkout. After entering rewards number still showing 7.74. Have joined baby club

    • +2

same here… have both awards and baby club now and still not 2.25

      • -2

Me too. Any idea why it's not working?

    • +2

It takes a few days for your baby club membership to link with the wolies online system, if you joined baby club just now for this deal then unfortunately it doesn't work immediately.

  • Just got 6 boxes with my weekly shopping yesterday. Love their free delivery.

  • I'm getting - "Please resolve the following error : The subtotal of $6.75 is less than the minimum spend of $30.00."

    • Minimum $30 for their delivery service.

      • Do you know how can I covert it to pick up ?

edit: actually found the answer but now checkout is timing out :-(

        • +1

Try using their click and collect service before you checkout. In case you buy over $50, TENOFF50 still works for extra 10% off.

  • +1

i got some to~ just beware they had a recall of this product back in …2011? in new zealand because of one of its ingredients that was used in paints or something. can cause dermatitis and other skin effects but for some reason i think it wasnt recalled in Aus coz we have slightly diff rules. fine to use for cleaning though, just beware of babies ?? I could be wrong but i didnt research to hard

    • You're spot on.

  • hmmm, stock showed up again

  • ozbargained .. damn!

    • +2

Ok, stock is back, but how to get the $2.24? Anything special I have to do? I'm signed up to the Baby and Toddler CLub

      • Ditto, i'm still trying but no luck!

  • When I try to sign up to the Baby & Toddler club it disputes the day of my birth.

"Date of Birth provided does not match with our records"

Just to be sure I wasn't drunk when I signed up to Woolies online, I went and double checked, and my correct DOB is listed there too. So I guess they don't want me getting their cheap wipes.

    • +7

Your parents must have been lying to you ;-) Several people have found out they were adopted as a result of signing up to buy these butt wipes ;-) The system is all knowing and can't be messed with.

    • I was getting the same thing and logged in to my Everyday Rewards account, I had birth year in as 1908 instead of 1980.. so I changed that and it works now

    • The Woolworths Baby and Toddler club checks the details against your Everyday Rewards account. So look up which date of birth you used for this account and use the same one.

  • NO STOCK

    • Try a friends address.

  • signed up baby club but still coming up with other price? have no idea what to do.

    • +1

I don't believe it will work for new baby club signups, only existing signups. Ah well :(

    • +1 how do newbies get the price?

    • You might need to wait around 48 hours to be registered in the Baby Club system.

  • +1

For that price, I'd buy it in place of normal tissues. Use it to wipe up spills or just for general cleaning purposes. Awesome deal :)

    • I don't think these wipes are as environment friendly as facial tissues.

  • +1

Can't seem to get the discount, signed up to the club and have rewards card.

  • out of stock?

  • +2

It states al members have to be a member for 8 days to receive promos, if someone can post there rewards number that would be great lol

  • -8

Got 23 boxes delivered this morning at this price $2.25 ^o^

u guys are bit slow, this promotion has been started few days ago

    • +6

wxwsf, appreciate you sharing this deal with us since a few days ago ;).

    • +3

Time to revoke your ozbargain licence, wxwsf. Sharing is caring

  • Got 20 boxes. Thanks OP!

  • Can someone pretty please pm me there every day rewards number

  • Pleasssse I have twins babies and a toddler this would save me a crap load of money

  • ordered without the discount coz its cheap anyway!! @$1.49 per pack!!

  • Are these flushable? my…uh…baby wants to know

    • +1

Never flush wipes… Even the "flushable" ones will clog up your sewer and cost you a plumber's visit. You're welcome ;-)

      http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/popular-bathroom-…

      • been using them for years and it's never been blocked

the reason they don't want you to flush cause they don't biodegrade like shitter paper does

  • Out of stock in Hurstville food for less (woolies)

No raincheck available either because it's not an advertised catalogue special

  • Worf posting baby whipes… So wrong…

    • I will try to redeem my honour captain ;)

    • -1

      you spoke good england

  • I can't see an expiry date on the deal. Is this ending Tuesday with the regular specials or is it just for the weekend.

I've seen the discount for baby club members on this product before but when I checked the current listing of offers today I didn't see the discount. I'm guessing they've recognised the double discount and removed it. I could be wrong however. If I can get to a store tomorrow I'll attempt the double discount. I can't get there today.

    • The $7.74 price isn't listed in the normal weekly specials and I couldn't find an expiry date anywhere so I had to just leave the expiry date blank.

  • anyone happy to share every day rewards number? mine didnt work

    • +1

Just sent you my card number via private msg.

      • NancyCat can you pretty pleasssse send me your card number too

      • May I plzzz have your card number?:)

      • Nancy, could you please help me out?
        Mine isn't working :(

  • +1

use TENOFF50 and will get 10% off

  • It sounds stupid, but may I know what's this for? Wipes for hands? face? or butt?? (I'm serious)

    • +1

Look at the picture of the pack, and have a guess.

      • Face? Hands?

        • +1

OK…here is the baby 101 for you. Babies are messy, you need wipes all the time. Wipe up you-konw-what when changing nappies (often more than 1 wipe). Wipe their hands, face when they are eating (yes, I can use a face washer, but most of the time, I can't be bother), and sometimes, use that same wipe to clean the high chair/table/mess after the meal.
Some grown-ups also use baby wipes to remove make-up.

  • Can anyone please share me their every day rewards number? Much appreciated.

    • Can someone please share their edr numbers? Thanks

      • Yes pleaseeeee me too :(

        • why dont u all just join on line???

        • The baby club extra discounts take a couple of days to be activated on the EDR card and the sale might be over by this time.

  • +2

    9344526720808 if that helps anyone.

Just to add that it didn't work for me initially through the link in the OP but when I went to the baby club site (and had logged in) I clicked one of hte specials and went through that link and was able to add with the discounted price. Don't know if that is the issue for anyone else but worth trying. My account is old though.

    • This one didn't work for me :(

    • which link did you use to get the lower price I couldn't find it? and where do you add your card number at the last checkout page?

  • Thanks Op. I got 30 boxes which will be very handy with 3 young kids. Hope they actually deliver them. Also thankyou to the person who posted the 10% off - got 30 boxes for $60.75 delivered :)

  • So it's only online (went to the local Woolies & it was $7.74) with EDR card & member of bub club for 2yrs.
But online it comes down to the $2.25 price…added some nappies & $30 is reached! Now lets see how they manage to stuff the order up this time.

  • Amazing deal, thanks OP. Hope Woolies honour all of the orders. If there is a strike by Woolies delivery drivers, we will know why.

  • +2

watch out ofr the expiry date! All my six boxes expire in Jan 2015.

  • How can I find them. .only coming up in store from the link….sold out????

  • I just brought 30 boxes lol, 4 kids under 4.5 - they will be handy!

  • +2

Baby wipes are the work of the devil for environmental and skin reasons. As a female GP you would not believe the number of women I see who use them for "hygiene" and suffer the consequences of painful skin reactions.
I think there's a Japanese brand (pigeon?) with water only if you really must.
Best thing I have used on my children is cotton wool roll with warm water and baby oil (home brand is best as it has oil only and no added extras), works even on meconium and can be flushed.

    • -3

So I should clean my babies bum with cotton wool roll?

GP's are overrated. You guys are just the obvious police.

    • There are better, safer ones but they are more expensive: http://waterwipes.com/au/
Funny how simpler products end up as more expensive…

  • Thanks Ops, just got 23 boxes for $46.

  • Edit: got it working never mind.

  • +1

Can anyone confirm where this is made? Australia or China?

    • Made in China.

      • Mmmm… not too sure about the deal now.

  • Sold out as I got through to checkout.

I changed my address to a friends to send them to their house and I changed back to mine and in stock again.

  • Thanks Op!..

  • -1

I also need a working EDR number for this deal. Anyone please?

  • if anybody can PM me a working EDR number I'd be very grateful thanks

  • One of my siblings has a $10 voucher in his email to use so be sure to check your emails if you signed up for the everyday rewards recently

    • I thought that was only after you don't use it for 12 months? I got $10 off for $30

      • He hasn't used his rewards card so they were offering him $10 off to use it.

  • can i get a EDR number to please? 3 kids here..need wipes.

    • +6

      try this EDR number
      9344520454723

      • Thanks so much, got 36 boxes (max allowed online).
My kids are constantly using them and we have a baby too so this is great.

      • Thank you much for this!!
