Not bad. Next best price from StaticIce is $109 from MSY.

  • +2

$109 from MSY. Depending on how much delivery costs are, MSY might be the better option (if you're close to a MSY store, that is).

Still a thumbs up, I guess.

You even try and find an MSY store that has these in stock. Certainly none of the Melbourne stores have any. Delivery to Melbourne is only $8 so it's on a par with MSY and no queuing for 30 minutes on to be told no stock. +ve from me.

I am using this keyboard and mouse and have loved it since the day I plugged it in.

Comparable price may be a few dollars better - nothing to get too excited about..

If I remember correctly, it was once sold for $69 at Catch.

  • RRP for any logitech product (on their website) is grossly exaggerated. I wouldn't use it as the main factor to buy this product.

    • I saw the price of these at Harvey Norman a few weeks ago - pretty much the RRP. Totally exaggerated the RRP.

Knew I should have bought one when bluepoint had that deal =(.

  • +1

Got it for $54 delivered when on sale at bluepoint a couple weeks back.;-)

  • got it at bluepoint as well, omg epic deal though this is still good

  • To those that actually have one… what's the real range on these? Are they OK for a HTPC environment? I know bluetooth is the best… but are the 2.4Ghz RF models still OK(ish)?

    • webbie, if I had ANY idea of what you are talking about I would let you know. Sorry, tech-dunce here :(

      • HTPC = Hometheatre PC. When you have a computer hooked up to the screen in your living room because you have heaps of movies on HDD.
I suspect with upto 10m range it would be pretty good.
Might need to ask someone who has owned this one.

        • Yep that's it exactly - a computer connected to your TV, so you can watch movies and stuff like that…. so you can control it from the couch. So you want the keyboard and mouse to work from a reasonable distance. :)

          • @MrGareth: For a HTPC, a mouse and keyboard in the one device is a lot better unless you have a surface you can use the mouse on…which in most cases there isn't since you want to use it from the comfort of the lounge.

Also, you have to determine whether you actually need a keyboard or if the remote will suffice. I thought I would use the keyboard a lot but as it turns out, we hardly use it.

      • Well, I am using it for my HTPC and am very happy with it. Approx 4.5 meters and happly working without any issues.

The spec said it uses 2.4Ghz wireless and capcable of up to 10 meters. I have the receiver connected to tha back of my HTPC which is in the TV cabinet (no in the line if sight to keyboard & mouse) and still seems fine.

  • RRP $280 is a joke. It is just couple of dollars cheaper. And MSY does it in stock. Some may could use MSY price to get discount from officeworks (not sure if they have in stock or not).
    After all it is COTD!

  • I agree with Stix, mouse and keyboard on the one device = awesome.
I'm using this at the moment with my htpc:

Works great for what i need.

I just also noticed that they have a touchpad if you don't like trackball:

  • I don't think most logitech keyboards are a lot of chop. I own a few, Some hi end ones and there just not worth the $$$. Still this is a good price for a wireless setup.
