    I reckon jb or eb would match the other store if u wanted games that came in the other stores package and were physical games they could swap off shelf ( not download tokens)

    They are nice now, but E3 is literally just around the corner. There's opportunity for standardised price drops or hardware revisions.

    Great deals if you have no idea the other console on the market is more powerful and doesn't have the inferior resolution on all it's multi platform titles.

      This may be the case now for some titles, but will not always be the case. For example Xbox one is 4k ready where as the PS4 is not. Yes I own a PS4 but it wasn't a clear cut decision for me. Xbox offers better value right now and these deals are great considering they give you the best games on the console and they are not trying to flob you off with the crap ones. +1 OP

        4K ready for images and possibly steaming movies if and when they are ever available, but as for native 4k games there is no way this generation of consoles have the processing power to be able to do that. Upscaled from its 720p/1080p maybe, but then that's all your 4k TV would do anyway.

        A PC requires at least 2-3 $1k video cards (titans) to run games at 4K with any form of quality, so I find it hard to imagine that a $500 console could.

        Back to the movies and images though, both consoles are/will be at hdmi 1.4 which is required for 4k res but this is still only 30hz, not the 50/60hz that we are used to for gaming.

        xbox being 4k ready is a bit specious when it cant even maintain 1,080p for most of its titles without horrible IQ degradation (ie. Forza 5)

        but to be fair, ps4 isnt a good deal unless there's some current IP that interests you

          Purchasing either next gen console is dangerous before E3. Can everyone just wait like 4 days? plz guys, plz.

          Naughty Dog is going to announce something*, Order 1866 will be shown (we hope), halo 5 will detail as to why it's exactly the same as halo 4 because 343 have no talent, Rareware will reveal their amazing new title, Banjo KaCashGrab, and Nintendo will do some stuff and make awful decisions!

          And Ubisoft, Activision, and EA will reveal their yearly sellout games! I CAN'T WAIT, CAN YOU!?

          *Announce that they're just going to remake The Last of Us over and over again.

      Id rather exclusives i'll play and slightly worse looking multi plats then no exclusives i want to play and slightly better looking multi plats.

      Comes down to games Phreakuency not power.

    While the price drop is nice, and freeing the console from Kinect provides 10% more GPU power for game developers to work with, a hack would work wonders for Xbox One sales.

    Not a fantastic price, but still a good entry level bundle, so + 1 from me, all the inappropriate negs look kind of silly with a deal around 20 votes :)
