Looks like there will be a new promotion each day for the next two weeks. I guess I'll have to check the online page on a regular basis.

$100 is too much for me to spend online. There aren't enough current specials that interest me. I hope the promotion will benefit other members. I'll stick to my EDR targeted offer at the moment where I get $10 off for getting $50 of groceries either instore or online.

    • Perhaps you can combine them ?

    • $100 is too much for me to spend online.

You live with your parents? Thats not much to spend on groceries.

I look after a family of four but can't justify $100 online when there aren't enough products for us on special to get to the target total.

        • why worry about target when this deal is at woolworths :P

        • "target" as in the total Woolworths want me to spend in order to get this particular offer of $10 off.

Stock up on non-perishable specials - coffee, cleaning products, dry goods.
Expensive items like meat and dairy can be found in the specials, unless you already have set plans your meals for the week.
Never buy fruit & veg from the supermarket.
Basics generally are not marked up that much online. Well worth a bit extra for the time saved.

A slab of roast, sack of flour, sack of rice, 4l can of oil, kilo of coffee beans, frozen food, - these all keep a long time.

        • pun has lost its charm

  • good deal thanks OP for voucher code

also i am combining this deal with another deal (i think targeted)

spend $100 last week (which i did) this week and next week and get $30 voucher

Make sure the final total after all the discounts is over $100 or else you won't qualify for the gift card.

Everything online is 10% dearer than in stores, so there's really no savings to be had here.

Not always. The catalogue specials can often be grabbed cheaper even after shipping with the right voucher. I regularly stock up on Pepsi max cans and/or bottles when it's on special along with free shipping and discount vouchers.

Get a month or two worth for cheaper then if I went to the store. Likewise il grab cases of beer while on special. Cheaper and more convenient when you can get free shipping.

Just bought 4 boxes of huggies nappies for $102 with free delivery. That's $25.50 a box. Thanks OP!

could u please tell me more about the free delivery on the weekends for the month of June?
I couldn't find the details about the free delivery except for the first time. thx!

    • Don't know - you could always ring an ask (freecall-1800 000610), if nobody in the thread knows.

We asked a driver when we had an order delivered about a month ago about whether or not Woolies were going to compete with the Coles on the 'Wednesday free-delivery day' thing. He said likely yes, but both days on the weekend and implied likely permanent, not just promo.
We'll all find out if, and how, that pans out, eventually.

    • just do your order and it comes up as free delivery (if you book a weekend time) when you checkout if you spend $100 I stink (haha)

  • When we order online, we tend to get things delivered in the 7pm - 10pm slot.
Saturdays were added recently, and just noticed Sundays too - for anyone interested who hasn't yet noticed. In Qld. Presume will already be nationwide - if not now, soon.

regarding the free weekend delivery. i have used it twice its great.

just pick a time slot on saturday or sunday.

it will show up on the last screen as Delivery $11 and then directly below it will say less delivery discount -$11 (or some similar wording)

  • worked a treat together with my "apology" voucher from last weeks wipes bargain of the year :)
