AIR BnB $50SGD (~$43AUD) Voucher with $100SGD (~$85AUD) Minimum Spend

470
DBSSG554827

This code only works for accounts created using an SG IP address, so you will probably have to use a proxy to create a new account to access this deal. I've set up a web proxy to save everyone some time and effort. Proxy has been configured to access airbnb only to prevent abuse.

How to use a web proxy 101

  1. Download foxyproxy (Chrome/ Firefox)
  2. Add New Proxy: Host/IP Address is 128.199.191.92, port is 8080
  3. Create a new airbnb account
  4. Verify yourself
  5. Book your airbnb using the promo code

I can confirm that you are able to use the same ID to verify multiple times on different accounts, I've done it myself. Create multiple accounts for multiple coupon usage. Enjoy folks!

P.S. Here's my referral link if anyone is feeling generous, I did spend a few hours setting up the web proxy :D

Update:

Your multiple accounts may be merged into one in which case they will cancel your referral credits. YMMV though, so if you have an account with referral credits > coupon savings, it might be wise to stay away from this deal.

    so how come S$50 = S$100/2 but AUD43 > A$70/2

  • You get 50SGD discount for a minimum 100SGD spend….not 50SGD for every 100SGD spend?

I want to book a place in NYC for 8 nights, so it best to book each night separate to get 50SGD off each night?

    • Doesn't that then mean u will need to check out and recheck in each day , thus not being able to access room from 10am (eg. check out) to 2pm (eg. Check in).

Always wondered that, will appreciate if someone in the know can clarify.

As it's Airbnb & not a hotel, you just send a message to the host explaining you are staying longer. Worked for me. Believe me, they won't worry as it means less cleaning. But some places have minimum stay or charge higher on a daily basis. The host knows nothing of any discount - they get paid as normal.

Last time after I created a second account with different email & form of ID, they caught me, amalgamated the accounts & did not get the bonus credit :-(

  • If there are more than 1 staying, open account in each name, book, then send message to host explaining that bookings should be combined for your group.

  • I've done it more than once, they merged my accounts as well. My existing referral $ went to 0 but my confirmed bookings with the promo code code were not cancelled.

TLDR; it is pointless to create a daisy chain referring yourself as your referral $ will drop to 0 if they find out and merge your accounts. They have a fairly advanced system for detecting duplicate accounts.

They merged my accounts during authorisation (which was delayed overnight), before I could book & use au$125 discount. Had booked with another first night free discount code on my original account, which was ok after merge. That was around January on Australian accounts.

Apart from a vigilant authorisation system which cost me a discount (but protects hosts & guests) Airbnb is great.

  • Do you need to book with the code whilst using proxy to be valid or just have to signup whilst using proxy to make the code valid anytime later?

Just need to sign up with the proxy, you can use the code later but bear in mind that it expires on 30 June so any bookings will have to be confirmed before then.

is Airbnb safe? couchsurfing is pretty dodgy.

Can't speak for others but my experiences have been stellar so far!

    • I've stayed at private apartments in NYC and Japan before and it was fine. Can't say how safe doing a shared house type one would be, though it is considerably cheaper.

  • Has anyone had any luck with this recently (ie. the past few hours)? I've been trying since last night and the proxy doesn't seem to be working. Unless I'm doing something wrong…

      • cheers!

  • Having a problem, says "You're not eligible to use this voucher"?

What am I doing wrong? I had to delete the voucher I get for using your referral code?

    • you have to use the singaporean proxy i provided to sign up, because the code is location specific.

      • I'm not sure it's working

        • it's definitely working i'm monitoring the console as we speak.

  • The coupon appears to be expired. Can the OP please check. Just tried it with the code
