MOD — we have been contacted by someone representing Lion Co stating that

The offer has now closed with over 5,000 valid claims for gifts being received. The vouchers you continue to promote do not comply with the terms and conditions of the offer which required the submission of an online claim form and are thus not able to be redeemed.

Therefore,

  • Offer marked as Out of Stock
  • URL reverted to the online form
  • If you did not use the form to claim, it would be violating the terms & conditions and don't expect it to be honoured.

Good deal for those that are interested in giving it a go but didn't want to spend over $30 for one.

Form isn't working any more so the link has been updated to take you directly to the voucher, print and enjoy.

    Picked 1 up at Liquorland Ingle Farm SA no problems. Guy already taken phone calls about their stock levels. Went out back with him while he grabbed it and saw about half dozen in stock.

    Funny the Tap King Facebook page has the offer as expired over 3 hrs ago.

    LiquorLand @ Fairfield QLD have a few, just walked in, bloke didn't have a clue, he was curious why I didn't want to buy beer to go with it…warned him that others would probably be in there too. Explained Ozbargain to him, and why it was a good deal (shelf price was $33.95). GREAT DEAL OP!

      I think that it goes beneath the bottom of the bottle, so that it is not on an angle.

        The plastic ends on the back aren't wide enough to hold the bottle. And the tap king logo isn't visible then. Bad design? I doubt. Must be for something else.

      Are you talking about the rectangle/diamond thing (no idea what the shape would be called)?

      If you are that's a tool to open the bottles once you're finished with them for cleaning and re-using.

          It's a piece of plastic that is in the shape of this and says "tapking". It's a bottle opener for the actual kegs.

        Hah, it's been sitting on a shelf for about 6 months now. I've just been using my hands to open them (to drink the dregs, or to drink directly from it if the co2 leaks).

          Yup, I've never had an issue opening them by hand. Honestly don;t know why ypu'd need the tool to do it :S

        It actually removes the inserts of the bottle so you can recycle the bottle (Recycling depots, typically, won't accept bottles with the device still inside as it cannot be recycled).

    First choice at Cleveland QLD has stopped redemption. Says the area manager is ringing around all their stores and stopping it as people are scamming it and going to multiple stores.

    Who would have thought that would happen if you use the exact same code/barcode and ask people to "print" it once!

    So for 2 kegs (extra dry), it's $38 (6400ml) = $5.93/litre

    Case of extra dry $37.80 (8280ml) = $4.56/litre

    Case of 686ml bottles is $49.99 (8232ml) = $6.07/litre

    So as usual, kegs are not value for money. This is no exception

    For the kegs to be of value, they need to be less than $28.18 (for a pair!).

    just claimed my free tapking dispenser from the canning vale WA liquorland behind the IGA.

    Felt a bit like a cheapskate waltzing in and out without buying any beer :P.
