MOD — we have been contacted by someone representing Lion Co stating that

The offer has now closed with over 5,000 valid claims for gifts being received. The vouchers you continue to promote do not comply with the terms and conditions of the offer which required the submission of an online claim form and are thus not able to be redeemed.

Therefore,

  • Offer marked as Out of Stock
  • URL reverted to the online form
  • If you did not use the form to claim, it would be violating the terms & conditions and don't expect it to be honoured.

    Picked up my dispenser at 5pm-ish yesterday, Point Cook Liquorland. I took the 2nd last one…The cashier knew all about it. Nice little unit.

      I tried yesterday at Liquorland in Bundoora, Vic and could not get a keg under $28.

      May be a store specific thing. Possibly related to expiry dates?
      It is a shame, i was excited about the $14 keg.

    Update for some outlets in Easter Suburbs of Melbourne:
    Bulleen Liquorland - 0 units left
    The Pines Templestowe Liquorland - 0 units left
    Shoppingtown Doncaster Liquorland as @ 9am had 3 left
    1st Choice Balwyn - as @ 11am had 8 left

    Note: Coles at Balwyn no longer a LL but a Coles Liquor, also Coles at Tunstall Square now a Vintage Cellars so this deal is NOT available at these outlets so don't waste your time.

    Shoppingtown knew nothing about the $7 off deal but when asked to check by scanning it gave the discount, so the message is to insist on them scanning the bottle. Interestingly it did need the scan of my flybuys card as well so this may explain why some in Vic couldn't get the deal.

    I went to First Choice in Melbourne today and picked one up. I am told that store had plenty of stock.

    I also purchased a bundle deal, so you get a beer as part of the bundle, less the cost of the dispenser. So Extra Dry was $14.

        They're listed as normal price on the pricetags, but on checkout the TEDs scanned up as $14… after she'd scanned the dispenser!!!

          So it sounds like you need them to scan the Head Unit and voucher first.
          Will give it a go. Actually I haven't tried or dont like quite a few of those beers. Wish they had a bit more variety.

        Just take a bottle up with the tap king dispenser, ask them to scan it. If it scans up at full price you can always just tell them that you don't want it today.

      I think there is a huge backlog of it, that is why they are doing the promotion, so very often its extremely close to its use-by which is not usually the best for beer.

        The Tooheys New I got expires in two months which is plenty of time for me, I don't buy beer just to let it sit for 6 months, that's for my whiskey.

        I'm not sure if it's true or not but the bloke at my local Liqourland told me that the beer has a shorter expiry date because it has less preservatives in it than canned or bottled ones. Apparently it's closer to what you get from a bar and hence tastes better and has a shorter expiry.

        The guy at Liquorland told me they hardly had sold any Tap King units up until then. So not only did they have stock of the beer but the Tap kings themselves sitting Idle. The Fifty lashes I picked up still had a few months left on its expiry
