Some cheap Japan flights from a International sale at Jetstar. Fares are around $30 cheaper on the return so basically you could say these flights are inclusive of baggage at the end price.

    It seems like that Swine flue in Japan has calmed down so it's time to fly to Japan!
    This seems like the second best deal after '2 for 1' deal aka 'Take your friend for free' deal (which is around approx $220 one way), which they have had a couple of times a year recently.

    However, I found many sale flights between SYD to Osaka (cause I am thinking about visiting Kyoto!) are not best connection in Gold Coast - you will need to wait over 3 hours way in and also way back. Because of this, Syedney departure time is out of social time (6am ish) instead of 8am ish flight.
    Gold Coast airport is tiny and not many things to do. I wouldn't mind waiting in Singapore / Seoul airport for 3 hours but not in Gold Coast. Tokyo flight connection may be different.

    There are better connection flights available (like one hour connection) but they are not the best price. - overall good price if you can find a good connection flight otherwise this is ok price if you can bear 3-4 hours waiting in Gold Coast airport.

      Judging by past year's sales i reckon they'll have one for at least most of february - maybe from around mid january - in the coming months
