"we have tree plans by now"

    Uh ok then…

    • +2

they also have a Variaty of Plans

  • +3

    nice offer. Can I ask…

    1. What telco do you use for calls?

    2. what redundancy do you have for your servers?

    3. What uptime SLA do you guarantee ?

  • Hello Joshuah,

    1. We are not resellers, we have own infrastructure for VoIP platform, we have a few upstream termination points in Australia, Australian Calls never go abroad, excluding almost impossible case of outage of both of Australian independent upstream providers.
    2. Servers are located in Melbourne DC data center with all of necessary redundancy for power, internet and servers hardware itself.
    3. We have no written SLA in terms and conditions.

Please visit our web site to find out more about us: https://www.australianphone.com.au/about-us

Thanks. how many outages have you had over the past 12 months?

    • +2

For the last year we had two service interruptions:

One for incoming calls only due to upstream provider problems for a 3 hours (all outgoing calls were smoothly redirected via redundant links) and another one for 5 hours during maintenance window due to migration to a new VoIP platform.

Were any of these during business hours (mon-fri 8am-6pm?

      Depends on your usage.

I've been with MyNetFone for years. Great service, so much better than PennyTel.

The plans listed above seem cheaper than MyNetFone, but note they are not per second billing for mobiles like they are with MyNetFone…

      • The only rate this services offers that is cheaper is calls to mobiles, 12 cents vs 15 cents. All other rates are the same as MNF or higher. This offer also has a much higher fee for a DID, with MNF it's $5 a year, with this it's $30. With VOIP, that additional $25 would pay for several months of local (or other) calls in the average household.

Also, MNF has no contracts, no joining fees and no monthly fees if you don't want a DID.

By overall comparison, this offer is inferior.

      • You do know that MyNetFone owns Pennytel right?

        • +1

JV's comparison is still valid. Just like Qantas owns Jetstar, but the quality of service is different.

  • Almost as good as Telecube's Whirlpool offer: http://whrl.pl/RdT4YF

Calls to fixed lines 10c per call
Calls to mobiles: 7.9c per minute

DID Costs: 55c/month for WP members

Are all the above rates per second billing and without any connection costs ???

  • +1

Hi Jv, no connection cost. Local/National calls are billed per call, mobile calls per 60 second (1 minute) increment.

      thanks

  • Hi Rep,

Do you have any offer for VOIP device ? Thanks

can I port to other VIOP provider if I keep my present VOIP DID?

    • +1

      other VIOP provider

      phone services for Dyslexics ??

  • Hello Surekum,

No special offer currently, just a normal sale: https://www.australianphone.com.au/home-phone/hardware

    • K….thanks for the reply.. but I'm looking for device offer as well

  • Rep, can you please do us a special price for DID per month (like telecube is offering?) and also do a better rate on 1300/1800 rates?

  • Hi bb_hunter,

Unfortunately porting from another VoIP is not possible now.

More about number porting is here: https://www.australianphone.com.au/home-phone/keep-your-numb…

  • Hello Joshua,

Not a this stage unfortunately. DID price is $2.5 per month and included in some plans.

This offer is about Home Plans only, it doesn't cover 1300/1800 for business plans.

    Pricing is here: https://www.australianphone.com.au/business/phone-numbers

I can't possibly be the only one that thinks this site screams scam. Spelling and grammar mistakes abound, constant mismatch of fonts. It just completely lacks professionalism. Just a little tip, if you want your online business to be taken seriously, hire someone who has decent grammar skills.

    • i just read through some sections, it's quite bad…

ABN seems to be registed to Mod: Removed personal information

    "Not currently registered for GST"

How can purchases include GST if the business is not registered for GST ???

    • interesting guy, speaks Russian, no GST?
people should read his previous OB deals - don't look good!

      • It shouldn't matter that they are Russian, but charging for GST and not being registered is a bit dodgy…

I'd be concerned more if they were from Nigeria…

ABN info, and 'public' linkedin profiles are in the public domain, not non-public (excuse the double negative)

no emails or phone numbers were published.

  • Have you thought about offering a certain number of free 1300 calls on your $18.95 plan instead of outright charging 30c each? It probably gives a bit of unnecessary anxiety to the customer making everything free except 13 calls.
How about first 10 or so for free, and then 30c each?

    • +1

How about first 10 or so for free, and then 30c each?

They probably could, if they increased the plan by $3
