          order confirmation came yesterday after ordering, this was an official dyson invoice with their logo in PDF.

      Received the invoice which appeared to be a request for payment- called them up and they said its already been posted. - where do you work? LOL. Invoice included a serial number.

    Seems that Dyson are going to honour this for those who persisted and got through their terrible ordering process.

      Yeah same. Except the invoice only lists the toolkit and not the vacuum cleaner lol (got charged for both though). Guessing it's showing only the first item that is on the order confirmation email.

      Its been dispatched for many…
      Dyson will need to do special deliveries to verify that first and take it back if buyer is not an employee ;)

      They might not make money, but they are not loosing anything…

    Dyson will actually make more money from this. Typically the retail store will mark up 100% of the actual cost price to make up the RRP.

    So even with 40% discount off RRP, Dyson actually make 10% more profit compared to what they supply to the retail store.

    I wonder why they feel the need to offer high-flying massive pay check workers at PWC a 40% discount, as opposed to average stay at home mum, who would more likely benefit more from this sorta deal, and give much more positive word of mouth publicity…..

      Joe public doesn't usually know how much a product costs to manufacture or import so they go along with the flow and rejoice when they manage to get 10% off!

          Doubt it's that. I asked for mine to be delivered to home and still no invoice/shipping notification.

          Pretty sure they just have a huge backlog of orders they're trying to fulfill and they're all being processed using complex RNG technology.

          Oh well if I don't get it I save a few hundreds, if they honour it I have a new dyson.

          @Shibuya: I ordered at around 2pm on Tues as well. Still haven't received an invoice/shipping notice, but I did call Dyson up today to verify that the order went through and they confirmed that it did. They just said to sit tight and wait up to 5 days for it to ship.

    3. Dump all money made from sales into high interest accounts

          the 2 most recent interstate parcels I have receved have taken 7 days to arrive, as opposed to the 2-3 of days gone by.

    I ordered a tool kit and still hasn't arrived. They did send me a separate invoice so hopefully it's on its way.

    Strange thing here: Two items on the conformation letter but there is only the 'Tangle free turbine' on the Dyson invoice? Did they remove the fan I ordered? Anyone else having a similar issue?

      They seem to issue accessories on a separate invoice. I have an invoice for two accessories but still waiting for the DC54 invoice. My credit card has been charged the full amount of the order confirmation email.

        Interesting. It would be good to have just one invoice but it does not really matter if they issue a separate invoice for the fan which I actually wanted. My credit card has not been charged or maybe the transaction has not been updated. I guess I just have to wait and see what is going to happen next.
