Update 1 : As many of you already predicted, Dick Smiths actually raised prices, so now PS4 is $503.95($499+$4.95 for shipping) and Xbox One(XboxOne 500GB TitanFall Console Bundle) is $602.95.

Update 2 : You might want to check out Kogan Ebay store. They are selling phones & tablets(including iphones and Galaxy S5) under Toy section, so the 20% discount should be applied to those phones & tablets. Plus, it seems like Kogan listed Xbox One on their store as well, but it is same price as what DSE is selling at the moment($498, after the discout $398.4 thanks arena sales).

Update 3 : By the way, I would recommend you guys to keep your eyes on Ebay Group deal. If my memory serves me right, last time Apple MacBook Air 11" 128GB was only $500 after the 20% discount. Hopefully, some similar deals are available on 21/07/2014

      Me, I bought mine around 10:04-10:08am too. I contacted DSE via the contact seller to ask when I could expect a 'sent confirmation' as the user above said they received theirs all the way in perth. Currently I'm just assuming the worst now after the things I've heard about DSE EBay + my crummy luck.

        Just heard back from them re my order (was in the first 50 odd orders after 10 am). This was the reply:

        "In relation to your enquiry, please be informed that unfortunately the item ( Sony Playstation 4 Console) ordered is currently on back order awaiting stock arrival.

        Next delivery date for this item is on 24th July 2014."

        I'm in no hurry, and nice to hear that the wait isn't that long.

          Oh okay not too bad I guess, thanks for that. Cause my estimated delivery, which I'm pretty sure is the same for everyone, was set at 28th July. Hopefully they get enough stock. I don't mind waiting either I just don't want to get told like 2-3 weeks later 'oh sorry, we "forgot" to tell you we won't have stock till september'.

        First time (last time) I bought (will buy) something from DSE online it took about 3 weeks for delivery. Went into my local store day after ordering online & they had plenty on the shelf. If showing as Click & collect I would have done that!

          Yup, DSE is like that.
          Their policy is to send stock from warehouse not from individual stores.

          Which is why you may have 100 units in 1 store but none at the warehouse, which means you still won't get your item sent out.

    Had a reply from DSE (after 1 day so not too bad) that 'Not to worry your order is scheduled to be dispatched today and should arrive in 2-3 days.

    Conflicts with it being out of stock but I'll update here if it ends up shipping

          Before when I looked at the tracker, under "Service Level" it said "Overnight" now I'm looking it says "PrePaid" so not sure if it will be here tomorrow there's still a chance it might just be delivered to 1 of their depots in Melbourne, to await delivery on the next business day which would be money. Dunno what PrePaid means in this situation though. I want it before the weekend too so I can play with the menu and maybe try the Destiny Beta before it closes by the 27th. Otherwise I'll play with the menu while I wait for TLOUR to get delivered xD

          @Fin88: double check what the tracker says. Worse case scenario you might have to contact your local post or the main depot and get them to see if they can track it if Startrack passed it onto them. "In some cases there are parcels delivered to the post office by other courier services however only if they have arrangements with Australia Post." from AusPost when I asked about a package I hadn't received.

      Yeah don't worry about it, I think that shipping thing has to be changed manually by DSE themselves, which I'd imagine could take ages unless they can automate it somehow, hence why you got the shipping confirmation direct from @dicksmith.com.au.

    mine arrived this afternoon and I missed the courier, but there was a card to pick it up from the local post office. Lady in the post office thought they were competition prizes as there were so many which had arrived at the post shop! :)
