Full T&C's

Notable products

Playstation 4 from Dick Smith - $399.20 after 20% off

PlayStation 4 from The Gamesmen $396 after 20% off

XboxOne 500GB TitanFall Console Bundle - $478.40 + $5 shipping after 20% off

Nexus 5 (16GB, Black) $320 iPad Air 16GB Celluar $540.8 Shipped and etc

Since Video Games and Consoles are mentioned, I think PS4 and Xbox One are included. However I am not 100% sure.

Eg) PS4 @ Dick Smiths is $485 at the moment, but after the 20% discount it should be $388
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-Playstation-4-Console-/25156…

Update 1 : As many of you already predicted, Dick Smiths actually raised prices, so now PS4 is $503.95($499+$4.95 for shipping) and Xbox One(XboxOne 500GB TitanFall Console Bundle) is $602.95.

After the 20% discount(it applies to the shipping fee as well), PS4 should be $403.16 and Xbox One(XboxOne 500GB TitanFall Console Bundle) should be $482.36.

PS4

Xbox One(XboxOne 500GB TitanFall Console Bundle)
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/XboxOne-500GB-TitanFall-Console-B…

Update 2 : You might want to check out Kogan Ebay store. They are selling phones & tablets(including iphones and Galaxy S5) under Toy section, so the 20% discount should be applied to those phones & tablets. Plus, it seems like Kogan listed Xbox One on their store as well, but it is same price as what DSE is selling at the moment($498, after the discout $398.4 thanks arena sales).

Update 3 : By the way, I would recommend you guys to keep your eyes on Ebay Group deal. If my memory serves me right, last time Apple MacBook Air 11" 128GB was only $500 after the 20% discount. Hopefully, some similar deals are available on 21/07/2014

http://groupbuy.ebay.com.au/

Update 4 : Many mobile phones, talbets and consoles that are sold by Kogan are no longer listed under the "toy" section. Make sure what you are purchasing is under the right category, so the discount can be applied.

Update 5 : Apparently PS4 is "sold out" @ DSE, just a day before, the deal starts.

Update 6 : PS4 is back on DSE ebay store @ $499(thanks kamoi) which should be $400-ish after the 20$ discount. However it says "Limited quantity remaining"

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-Playstation-4-Console-/25156…

Update 7 : Sony Xperia Z, Z1, Z2and compact are still under Toy section(thanks grab_ur_freebies)

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=&_osacat=220&_trksid…

Udpate 8 : Some ipad are still under Toy section(thanks andri77), including ipad mini with retina 16GB white which should be $352 (after disc)

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_odkw=iphone+5s&LH_BIN=1&_…

Update 9 : Some Samsung smartphones(including Galaxy S5) are still listed under the toy section.

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Other-/1039/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw…

However, I can not confirm the 20% discount can be applied to those smartphones, tablets and consoles that are sold by Kogan

Coupon code is CTOYTASTIC, good luck everyone

Any Xperia Z links please. Kogan one is not accepting code any longer.

    • Actually how do you test the code? Because once you press buy now you are committed to purchase before checkout???? That's where you put the code in at checkout right?

      • +1

Add to Cart and proceed to checkout . Then you can entire the code . But unlucky i din't but xperia earlier :(

      • Add to cart first

      • Not sure why I got negged just a question

        • Likely because it is a question that has been asked many times before, and by asking it you have shown that you have not read the comments. Certainly not a neg-worthy offence in a thread this long. The T&C's don't even mention that it needs to be added to cart first.

To redeem this offer, enter the redemption code into the redemption code box during the checkout process. You must be an eBay.com.au registered member.

  • I still hadn't put an internal HDD in my 360S 4GB from the cashback deal at Xmas. Pulled the trigger on this 320GB one for $45…

  • Just curious… what will stop Mr A.'s Brother (Mr. B)"selling" Mr A. a PS4 for $1000?

The final value fee is app 10% ~$100.

    Mr B. pays $800 for the PS4 and Mr A. gets $900 ($1000-$100)?

      Possibly Mrs. Effort

    • Disclaimer: I have not studied the T&Cs…

    • +7

Wouldn't they be half-brothers, since they have different surnames?

    • paypal fees, account suspension, effort

    • I equate to lose roughly 20% of the sale price when selling on eBay these days. After listing fees, paypal fees, final value fees. Your profit would be minimal, you'd be breaking ToS, and it'd be a hassle.

  • $211 worth of games…that was fun :P

  • Cheapest Wii U? or Wii U MK8 pack?

    • +2

Nothing much on eBay. Your better off trying to find stock in local stores

      • Okay thanks. I'm buying the following:

1x The Last of Us Remastered PS4
        1x Harvest Moon A New Beginning 3DS
2x Xbox One Play + Charge Kits

        Grand total just under $120!

          do you really need a wii u after buying a ps4, xb1 and 3ds?

        • +7

          @laurence: yes

        • @laurence:

do you really need why don't you aready have a wii u after buying if you own a ps4, xb1 and 3ds?

Also because Zelda, Mario 3D, MK8 and Smash Bros. that's why!

        • @Putnum: haha fair enough… love smash bros

    • +1

      I second this

    • Already went scourging through the gaming cat. last night, not much in terms of Nintendo stuff I'm afraid. There are low firmware 3DS's if you need one. Other than that only games are worth looking through.

    • +1

      Don't bother.

Cheapest Wii U basic is like $100 more expensive than they were in the Skylanders bundle at Kmart/Target/etc.
Cheapest Wii U/Mario Kart bundle is $50+ more expensive than JB.

  • I bought an item at auction and made payment with the discount, however the PayPal transaction says 'unclaimed' - this usually means the Paypal email supplied by the seller is incorrect. Will i lose my now discounted price at all if the seller decides to fix things in a few days??
If I lose the 20% discount i do not want to go through with the transaction.
    Any help?

    • Ebay email and PayPal email MUST match.

      • He was talking about the Seller's email being incorrect. From experience these deals don't care if the buyer's ebay and paypal emails differ.

        • so its likely my discounted price will be honoured?

  • Wow, over 1080 PS4 sold! But the games aren't cheap.

    • -1

Yeah, I mentioned before, Queue the Dick Smith cancellations and complaints.

      • Yeah I'm beginning to worry DSE will turn around and say they miscalculated stock or something. I was 1 of the early people who was there the moment the code activated but I have no doubts knowing my luck I'm gonna get screwed out of a bargain (along with many others) and be stuck with a copy of TLOUR, it's not entirely a bad thing, it's a good game, worth having even without the console, I guess. This is of course assuming I was even going to get the PS4 to begin with, I heard it can take up to forever for Dick Smith Ebay to deliver.

  • +1

Code works at ebay.com as well

  • +2

Found a $475 PS4 sold by individual seller as unwanted SONY TV bundle gift! Can't resist and pulled the trigger at $380 after discount.
    Next step. accessories! any idea?

    • another controller definitely. I would have suggested the camera as I've had fun using it with the built in games and online streaming but nothing more unfortunately. Dick smith hae a good price on the camera though, so if you think there's potential otherwise, its no kinect at this stage.

    • +2

Dangerous move, as you're not covered under aus consumer law, which would normally cover you for three years. Congrats on getting such a good price though.

      • +3

That's what I was going to say, but didn't want to be a party pooper. Unless Sony Australia will accept your console for RMA directly, you gotta get this guy to do the RMA for you, which I wouldn't exactly trust, nor would I want to spend money shipping to him and back. Or he can give you his original invoice and you go to the place he bought it from, which might not be close to you.

I would rather have paid a bit extra and got it from DSE.

  • +5

For me trying to find something useful from this sale is like searching for a needle in a haystack. :)

    • LOL same here :(

I bought a Yo-Yo. Used to play with them a lot when I was a kid and it will be interesting to see if I can still do some tricks.

        • I bought a fancy diabolo to test my skills 20years on…

        • which yoyo did you get?

  • Anyone getting that 'the code is invalid' at the moment?

My mistake sorry. This Dr Who tardis is in Kitchen collectables ???????

  • amzaing deal . damn, spent so much this month.

  • Does anyone know if there are fake 64gb vita cards circling around? Thinking about picking up this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OFFICAL-SONY-PSVITA-PLAYSTATION-P…

  • Stupid paypal wants to verify my identity before I can pay, only it wants to call me to do it, problem is the phone number it has is old and it won't let me add, remove or edit the ones I have in my account.
Looks like no shopping for me

    • Managed to change it on my phone but now it won't accept payment. Ugh

  • +2

Managed to score FIFA 14 on PS4 brand new for $32 :)

    • +6

      Paid about $30 too much… :P

      • +5

Yep! Especially with the new one coming out in a few months, Fifa 14 $5 bargain bin soon!

  • Anyone good deals on psvita?

  • Bicycles included in this deal?

    • +1

Yes, I bought a couple myself

  • I was undecided betwee xbone and PS4 and kinda wanted an xbox more but DSE never had the base kit on sale until I had bought a PS4. Guess my decision was made for me.

  • any last minute bargains/good purchases? Doesn't look like any PS4 games on decent discounts.

    • change the tab to newly listed, or bin prices, can pick up some bargains from there

  • +1 thanks OP. Nabbed Kirby's Epic Yarn for under $20. $17.52 to be exact.

Been wanting to play this forever but refused to purchase as the price, even used was around the $30 mark even after the Wii U came out.

  • PS4 dual charging station - good buy at $28
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sony-PS4-Dual-Charging-Station-/2…

  • +2

I seem to keep going back for more. Think I'm done now though, pretty happy with PS4 + extra controller + Watch Dogs (used) for $500.

    Thanks again OP.

Bought a Sony Z1 from Kogan and the code worked

    • When? Earlier? Hasn't worked since they moved them back to the mobile phones cat.

    • LIES!

  • -4

I don't get it. Can't enter the code until after you commit to buy. Then after I commit to buy and enter the code, it doesn't work. wtf! It's for the Atari Arcade. The terms and conditions sucks. Hate ebay.

    • +3

      Try "ADD TO CART"!!

      • yeah for some reason that toy didnt have the option to add to cart. had to buy it now snd once you click on that you are obligated to buy it but others i was able to add to cart. to check the price.

  • do you guys think there will be another 20% off next week or the week after? I am in a dilemma to buy or not to buy PS4 now. it is really tempting. I just wanna get rid of my PS3 and my games first.

    • +6

Don't leave it to chance. Its probably not going to happen again.

I missed my chance to buy the LG G Pro 2 today. Not happy!

      • +1

I know I literally had it in my cart for $350ish before getting distracted and now its goooooneeeee :/

      • same same

      • Agreed, if you want it at that price, go for it now. You never know how long it will be till you see a price like this again. You might see it drop down to $450-480 from other sales here and there, but why save 20-50$ later on, when you can save $100 now. I personally consider myself to be saving $150 since normal retail price is $548 at most local places. I was even going to skip TLOUR but I knew if I did, I'd changed my mind after the sale ends, so I grabbed it now. You can get rid of your PS3 and games anytime you want.

      • Yeah that was about the only thing I was interested in and I literally snoozed. Got up and it was gone. lol

        • Yeah, the original batch of stock they had up sold out in <10mins. It was crazy. They added more stock eventually but not sure how they're getting soo many. I woke up at 8am to be ready for the sale xD

  • -2

What's in the PS4 box? Just found out no camera included.

    • +13

      Cardboard, foam wrap, and manuals.

      • +3

Some air as well. Oxygen type I think.

    • controller, hdmi cable, power cable, charging cable. (I'm guessing)

      • And the console.

Also, my US unit had a code for 30 days of PS+ access, and $10 store credit. I gave away the PS+ code to a fellow OZB'er because it was for new customers only, not current subscribers.

  • will this work for stuff bought from usa I wanna buy and arcade stick

    • Just make sure you open the link via ebay.com.au I think, besides that (and it being in the correct category) it should be fine.

    • What're you gonna get? I've been tossing one of these up all day http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321260604080?ssPageName=STRK:MEWA… but it's my first stick and I dunno if I wanna spend $160 on one…Amazon recently had the the latest madcatz 'Pro' sticks (with their logo on it rather than SF art), for $100US plus only 10US shipping, but now they're 'no longer available from that seller' (ie amazon) - for 360 that is (which i want cos want PC support.) The gamesmen also have the SF X Tekken Pro one, $190 (minus the 20%), but I think the V.S. stick is more easily moddable like the TE sticks were (which they have for 229, before discount.) This is assuming the code does work for them etc, but yeah…

      • I was thinking xaracde stick dual but they have it listed as computers :(

  • Quick question, is the 20% off the price + postage or just off the price of the item?

edit: ignore post, read the description

    • It's product price + shipping - 20% using the coupon code.

  • +6

Caved in and just added a racing sim seat to my bought list. My daughter's already told me tonight to get off ozbargain and is now telling me to put my tablet down(which I bought during the DSE 20% off Sunday lol)
